Over the years of using this Subaru Dealership for basic maintenance I feel the level of service fall off a bit. Still nice friendly staff. I was a bit put off when I received a text with an update stating that my cabin air filter needed to be changed and it would cost about $78. The reason I was put off was their rotating price board in the waiting room showed this service to be only $39.99. I declined the change of filter. Plus they charged me $30 to remove a nail out of a tire. This car was purchased new in February. They said they only repair tires they sell. Well this new car came with these tires. Very disappointing. Also the first time the car wasn't washed after the work was completed. They did vacuum the front floor mats. More
I went in for an oil and filter change and after sitting in the waiting room for over an hour I received a text with a link to all of the services they said my vehicle needed Which amounted to over $700. No one came to talk to me about those services or why I needed them. The car only had 35,000 miles on it and had just received a service maintenance earlier in the year. With the exception of possible battery replacement, the other services felt like they were just trying to up sell And charge for unnecessary maintenance. More
