From out of town, stopped by to have a headlight pigtail replaced. They quoted me $150 for it, which I guess is normal for ridiculous dealer markups. I made the mistake of informing the service department replaced. They quoted me $150 for it, which I guess is normal for ridiculous dealer markups. I made the mistake of informing the service department that I was considering putting in HID lights. They offered me a terrible kit, that even one of the sales members said don't buy. I was actually impressed with the honesty from the sales department. However, I now receive calls from them once a week, trying to sell me on this piece of crap HID kit, even though I live 500 miles away. They won't stop calling, despite the number of times I have asked them to. I will be taking them to court over harassment. More
I thought I would give this dealer a chance, since they are local, although there never seems to be any customers in the showroom. I soon learned why there aren't any customers..they tried to sell me a bas are local, although there never seems to be any customers in the showroom. I soon learned why there aren't any customers..they tried to sell me a base Forester for 2k over MSRP and then attempted to con me into a 38% interest rate! That's not typo..38% They wouldn't tell me the real rate. I calculated it when I got home. They wanted me to pay close to 40k for what should be a 22k car. Unfortunately, they aren't the exception to the rule, since every dealer that I've been to in Las Vegas play the same games. There just isn't enough competition. I was able to get a much, much better deal by contacting a few Subaru dealers in Colorado. Even with shipping, the savings are close to 4k. More
