I came in for a part from their service department nearly two weeks ago. I was told they didn't have it on hand but could have it delivered in three days. I stated that I was from out of town and would not b two weeks ago. I was told they didn't have it on hand but could have it delivered in three days. I stated that I was from out of town and would not be back for a week or two. Employee said that it would arrive in three days and that I could pick it up at my leisure. When I returned the following week no one knew anything... No part, no recollection of anything. I was told they could order it again and it would be in in three days AGAIN. I said fine, waited and came back in to pick it up when notified. The employee this time asked me if I had been given a quote for the cost. I said I had not. He then said that he would give me a discount because of that. The bill when finally presented was 50$ more than what I had been expecting an had previously paid, even with a socalled discount that was not stated on my bill. I then had to pay another 40$ for the service department to activate my part. Needless to say after the hour wait for the activation I rode home pretty pissed off. More
Went to visit the dealer on a Sunday after a snowstorm and unknowingly found out the dealer was closed after walking into the dealership with chairs up and lights off. But Josh and Demetrius greeted us just the same as if the dealer was open (They were there to meet an out of town customer). Had a brief chat with them that we were interested in an Outback. Let us take one of their demo cars out. Found their honesty and friendliness refreshing for a car dealer. After a quick test drive, arranged to work with them the next Monday. Came to the dealer the next Monday and they worked with us in selecting a car and covering all the terms of the sale (financing, etc). This was by far the best car buying experience my wife and I have had (this is our 4th time buying a car all at different dealers). There was no pressure and discussions were geared for what we wanted, not what they wanted to sell us. Absolutely fantastic! More

I was in a unique s Subaru of Wichita to the rescue! With the onset of winter and sub-zero temperatures my 20 year old 200K+ car was failing fast. I was in a unique situation as far as what my old car was worth, additional assets I could trade, and what I could pay per month. After calling and discussing the situation with several dealers around town I finally found a salesman who seemed confident he could help my situation in Tim Zauche. After a couple phone conversations I headed to the dealership to see if Tim and his dealership could really do what he thought they could. Upon arrival at the dealership I was greeted by two employees holding the front door open for me as I entered. I was kindly asked how I could be helped, and was immediately led to Tim. After some greetings we sat down to figure out where I was, where I wanted to be, and how the dealership could get me there. Tim stressed that we wanted to get all this in line so that we knew exactly where we could look on the lot so that he wasn't wasting my time (much appreciated). In short order we were joined by team leader John Muir who identified what inventory would fit my goals, he then said he would finish getting the other affairs in order while Tim and I took to the lot to peruse and eventually test drive several cars. On the lot, Tim represented Subaru of Wichita's "no sharks" motto well. He continued to ask me exactly what I wanted in every aspect of a vehicle, and NEVER tried to sell me on something that didn't fit my description and situation well. After some time on the lot, plenty of friendly conversation about the vehicles, and a few miles in test drives; I had finally come to the vehicle that fit perfectly. Now it was time for the finance manager, Josh Krause, to work his magic. He assessed my trades, and spent time on the line with potential buyers on the same day to assure that he could get what I needed out of my trades rather than low-balling me in order to maximize profit. This spoke volumes of the type of dealership I was dealing with. I've been robbed in the past by other dealers...not at Subaru of Wichita. At the end of the day, I drove off the lot in a 2014 Outback 2.5. I was smiling, hadn't broken the bank or the budget, and felt like I'd spent the day in the company of good, honest people who were legitimately in search of a solution than was right for me. I came back later that week for a roof mounted bike rack installation. I was let into service immediately and was back in my car in 20 minutes. I returned a week and a half after the purchase to provide one of the spare keys for my trade that I had misplaced and was greeted by Tim Zauche again. He was pleased to see me, asked me how my week was, what I was doing for the holidays, and about how the car had been treating me in the snow. When I told him I was just about to leave town on the car's first road trip he topped off my fuel tank and talked about how much he had been enjoying working with me throughout the deal. Three times my experience was confirmed. These guys are for real. If you want a different, better, car-buying experience you should check out Subaru of Wichita. I know I'll be back. More

It was simply the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. We've had some very unpleasant car buying experiences at other dealerships. But Subaru of Wichita is by I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. We've had some very unpleasant car buying experiences at other dealerships. But Subaru of Wichita is by far the best place in the state to buy a car. We were allowed to test drive one car after another and Travis would have another car waiting for us when we returned. After driving 5 or 6 cars my wife was sure she wanted an Outback. Travis and Adrian were both outstanding and I would highly recommend buying your cars from them. More

He was willing to work with me so that a car, and I had the most positive experience with Wichita Subaru. Jimmy Davis was a very motivated salesman. He was willing to work with me so that a sale could happen, and most importantly he was not condescending or patronizing as some salesman can be. He's very approachable, and friendly. I would definitely do business with Jimmy again. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and Wichita Subaru is willing to get a shopper the car they want. I'm an out of state shopper too and Wichita Subaru made the process of buying a vehicle very easy for an out-of-state customer. More
