The free drink and snack bar, the comfy waiting area, the impeccable customer service and appreciation. Austin was SO much fun to work with! He was a riot. We truly felt like we were making a friend and getting a car as a bonus. He was there through the entire process keeping the vibes relaxed and making it a genuinely fun and enjoyable experience while at the same time answering all of our questions. There was no pressure or mind games, no smoke and mirrors. Austin has since followed up with us to assure we are satisfied with our new Subaru and that we were satisfied with our experience. I would highly recommend to any friend that they contact Austin Friend if they have any interest in a new or used car. Travis is the very first salesperson that has ever thoroughly gone over the owners manual and all pertaining car information with us. We've never owned a Subaru, but were interested and needed a new car for my wife. When we entered the dealership, Mark Winegar met us at the door with a smile. Mark showed us three different models (Legacy, Outback and Forrester). We also met Mark's team leader, Adrian Hicks, who was likewise friendly and professional. We test drove the Legacy and Outback that day, enjoying both. Afterward, Mark, Adrian and Spencer Zimmer talked with us, answered questions and gave us some literature to take home. All three gentlemen were extremely pleasant and professional. After looking a some other makes and models the next few days, my wife decided she preferred the 2014 Subaru Outback. I called Mark on his cell phone, since he had left the dealership for the day. He was very kind on the telephone and we setup an appointment for an extended test drive the next morning. After the second test drive, we decided to purchase the car. Subaru of Wichita's "no haggle" pricing and the professionalism of the sales staff made this the most pleasant car buying we've ever had. We originally showed up to look at a car that was on their website, but it was out for detailing. This was the third time this had happened to us (two other dealerships had the same "problem") so we wer their website, but it was out for detailing. This was the third time this had happened to us (two other dealerships had the same "problem") so we were quite disappointed. David met us in the lot and listened to our list of "must haves", and realized he had just received a trade-in five hours before that met everything we were looking for (even color). It hadn't been cleaned or detailed (and in fact was still parked where the previous owner had left it)...but he encouraged us to take it for a drive even though it was closing time. After 30 minutes we knew it was the right car, so we headed back and started talking price. Since it wasn't yet in inventory and since I had made a rather unusual offer (something along the lines of "don't worry about reconditioning it so we can keep the price down"), Spencer got involved to make sure the numbers worked. Both David and Spencer were honest and up-front about the numbers, courteous and helpful, with no pressure to close the deal unless we were certain the car would fit our needs. We agreed on a fair price based on a known problem with the car being left unrepaired (I would fix it later)...we walked out happy and they sold a tradein on the same day. We drive cars for a long time (typically 10+ years) so we really hate doing the "car shopping" thing. This experience was pleasantly different, and this is the first dealership I've ever been to in 30 years that I will go back to when I'm looking for the next car. More

This is my twelfth Suzuki purchase. I have traveled all over the US to get "the deal". I'm from California, so I had to get terms that would justify the trip. Mission accomplished. I arrived in Wichita on Super Bowl Sunday night. It was the 4th quarter and the 49ers were threatening to take the lead. And there we sat -- myself, Spencer Zimmer, and Chris Jackson -- completing signatures on par with procuring a mortgage. No rush, no impatience. Chris walked me through the particulars of this vehicle and the printed materials. Spencer explained the financial numbers. Easy. Comfortable. I got a screaming deal on one of the best car values in America. Beautiful. Comfortable. Fuel efficient. Spacious. Tight engineering. Great audio system. Lots of storage and trunk space. Glistening paint that looks like pearl when the sun hits it. What's not to like. During my road trip back to California, Spencer and I touched base. He was surprised by my reported 35.7 mpg and 565 mile range on a tank of gas. Under all conditions, I averaged 34.9 and 525. When I'm in a buying mood again, I will check out what the guys from Wichita are up to. It's worth the effort. More
