We were told our T&C van was repaired and finished. When I went to leave the dealership several error messages appeared on the dash. We only went for oil change and tire rotation. The service write up man said they needed to replace the ignition switch because it would not work with a new key fob. The ignition switch was working fine when I came in. After 3 more hours, the car was finally finished. When i got home i noticed the dashboard had not been replaced properly. It was very shoddy workmanship. The next morning the car would not start and had no power. This work was done on JUly 24. Needless to say I had a bad experience at Suburban Chrysler. I will not buy another car from this Dealership due to the poor service department. More

After 12 phone calls and two visits to the office no one will call me back or talk to me for 5 weeks? Why will no one call me back or respond to the numerous messages I have left on voice mails? I am simply trying to find out what happened to the residual of my canceled warranty that I canceled weeks ago. It appears that it did not reach the company for two more weeks (per the warranty co). No one at the dealership will return my calls (extremely rude and unprofessional) or talk to me. I just purchased another, of many, cars from Suburban but I and my associates are sure it will be the last of such purchased by ourselves and our family. I am really disgusted and about to become irate. Surely it can't be that much money that we are talking about. I hope someone will actually read this and help me. Theodore M. As a recent college graduate, I was looking into leasing my first brand new car. I had a couple of options in mind that I was interested in looking at, all were Chrysler vehicles. My father and I saw an ad in the paper for Suburban dealership in Troy that advertised for the Chrysler 200 and the Jeep Patriot at pretty decent prices. We decided to go in and take a look. I was impressed by the atmosphere of the dealership right when I walked in, felt very professional. I was introduced to the salesman who would be helping me out, Rick LaRue. He asked us which vehicles we had our eyes on and showed us the many options that were available for us. After looking and test driving a couple of the cars, we started talking about price and whether or not they had exactly what I wanted in stock. I was still hesitant about making a decision because the price was a little higher than I was expecting, so I decided to check out one more dealership. I did end up finding a cheaper price elsewhere but it was not the exact color that I was hoping for. So we went back to Rick and told him, he talked with his managers to see what they could do, and within a couple of hours, they re-offered a new price that was much closer to what I budgeted for and for the exact color and car that I originally had my eye on. Rick was very understanding of my situation of being a newly graduated college student and was determined to give me exactly what I wanted for my first new car. I was overall very satisfied with my experience with Suburban Troy and I look forward to returning to them for future leases. Oh, and I love my new car! I would highly recommend Stuart Smith to anyone else looking for a vehicle. Also, I believe that I go a very good price on my vehicle. The way that they price vehicles ( I think they called it Market Based Pricing) made sense and seemed very competitive when I compare to numerous other vehicles online. One other thing: I did have a small issue with my car the day after I bought it. They had no problem resolving the issue and covering the cost. That was what I had expected, but it was great to see that they followed through without any hassles. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Troy and Stuart Smith to anyone else. More
I was visiting various jeep dealerships to replace my Liberty lease that was up in a few weeks. I have had vans and SUV for the past 26 years and had not considered a car. He and Tom Brown, Manager, offered to let me take one home overnight to experience the feel and drive of the 200. I really liked the drive and seriously looked at the vehicle specs. I ended up leasing the Chrysler 200 and have had it for a week now. I love it. I would not have ever considered it had Mike not suggested a test drive. Other strong points that I respected from this dealership and Mike: -they treated a female respectfully and as a serious customer (may dealerships barely talk to me unless I have my husband with me) -they easily transitioned the vehicle into my name after seeing my credit report and employment record -worked to ascertain an agreeable price -every timeline on documents and delivery was met comfortably -every employee I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I'd return to this dealership and recommend Mike Paparelli. More
I purchased a 2010 GMC Acadia from Suburban. I had a few simple to solve problems that were made out to be big deals. I only asked my sales person Don Smith to replace the drivers side front wiper blade an simple to solve problems that were made out to be big deals. I only asked my sales person Don Smith to replace the drivers side front wiper blade and put a battery in my remote so it works, and you would think I was asking him to put in a new engine. The wiper blade was smearing water in my line of vision, and I told him that I expect a vehicle to be in proper working order when I buy it. That's when he brought up the price that I negotiated with him and said that I already got money off the asking price and that replacing these two item wasn't going to happen. I stated my points and was just going to leave, when he finally realized how petty that sounded and how unprofessional that was and said for me to pull in to service and they will take care of me, while also saying that they'll fix the blade and battery even if he has to pay for it. I feel that whatever price Don and I negotiated should never be thrown back at a customer, otherwise don't agree to sell the car. I have already told my friends and family to stay clear of Suburban Chrysler Jeep at the Troy Motor Mall as it was a very unpleasant experience. There are plenty of other great dealerships out there to make your experience what buying a car should be. Ken Welke More

He even informed me of a discount I was eligible for through my employer. All the paperwork was in order when I picked up the new vehicle and it was prepped and spotless! The only glitch was a missing second key fob. But that was ordered and replaced when promised. The service department had the vehicle a short time to program the new fob and I waited in the comfortable lounge and helped myself to a hotdog and chips! I would recommend Suburban, and especially Joe, to my friends and colleagues! And I will return for a fourth time when I replace this vehicle! More
Ordered online a car from this dealership that stated it was white suede. Car arrived and was light sage! They seemed to think it was no big deal. Both heated seats do not work and paid another $40 to diagnose problem and Ford says over $2000 to fix them (I was not told they were not working). Car price was lowered $1000 after I purchased it on their web site (I was refunded that money). Small rip in leather, which I was not informed of. Dealership will now not respond to my issues. The color issue and heated seats were unacceptable. how does a car salesman not know that light sage is not white suede? More
