My family and I drove over an hour to take a look at a pre owned car. We met Dale (salesperson) and he was helpful and knowledgeable. I was satisfied with the car and wished to purchase it. I asked that they make some concessions and cover the cost of the tax, title, and plates. The salesman said that the price of the vehicle was the bottom line and was unable to provide any concessions. Then the Pre Owned Sales Manager Rob Radzwin walked up and asked if we were going to buy the car. I told him that I would buy the car today if they would just cover the tax, title and plates. Rob told me that he was unwilling to make a deal and with a smug grin and attitude said "Thanks for stopping by.", then walked away. I was more than willing to buy the car and I just wanted to feel like I was getting a deal. I am also a manager and a professional who works with the public. I have never been treated with such disrespect by another professional. I know that part of doing business with the public is having great referrals. I will not recommend this dealership to another person. I purchase a lot of vehicles for the business that I manage and was hoping that I could make a new contact and possibly do more business in the future with your dealership. This will not be happening now. For $900 you have lost a deal with me, the business that I work for, anyone that asks me where they should by a car and received a bad review. That is a bad business decision. More
I leased my first minivan from Bill Messina 2.5 yrs ago. I was looking to turn that van in early and upgrade to the 2013 with a few more options. Bill was outstanding to deal with for the first lease and did not disappoint this time around. Bill worked very hard to get me to a good number both with my turn in value and my new lease payment. When Bill tells you a number it's nice to know that number is not going to change at final signing. The process was easy, smooth, and I really felt like Bill did not pressure me into doing anything I wasn't comfortable doing. I consider Bill a friend who is trustworthy, honest, and knows the definition of customer service. As long as I'm getting vehicles from Suburban I'll be getting them from Bill. Thank you! More
My experience at Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Troy was by far the best vehicle shopping experience I have had. I have leased several vehicles in the past (through other dealerships), but, have never rece by far the best vehicle shopping experience I have had. I have leased several vehicles in the past (through other dealerships), but, have never received the excellent customer service that Jeff Timmington provided to me. As a single female I always feel hesistant walking into dealerships, however, Jeff made me feel comfortable. Jeff took me on a test drive of the vehicle first and as he was driving was explaining different features of the car, then we returned to the dealership and I took the vehicle out for a test drive on my own. Even though my sale ran past closing time, Jeff never made me feel rushed, he made sure to explain all the options on my car, showed me how to program radio stations, he hooked up my phone through the radio & answered all my questions with a smile on his face. Rick LaRue did a lot of checking ahead of time for the vehicle I was looking for and made recommendations when I told him what I wanted. He bent over backwards to inform me of all of the information I ne vehicle I was looking for and made recommendations when I told him what I wanted. He showed me many of the new items included in my new van and helped me learn how to work them. Rick and John Gerrard were very helpful to provide warranty and special programs to purchase. There wasn't any high pressure to purchase them. We were given the information and were able to make our own decisions. More

I truly feel he took my situation to heart, and wanted to help me get the most car at the best deal. Words can't describe how much I appreciated his gentle laid back manner. I never felt pushed or rushed, and I didn't give him the easiest sale, but his patience and manner paid off. I am extremely happy with the vehicle I first said I wanted nothing to do with. I have no complaints about my sales rep Jose Arbelaez's. He did as much as he could in a difficult situation. I was told my vehicle had all wheel drive and it turned out it only had front whee Arbelaez's. He did as much as he could in a difficult situation. I was told my vehicle had all wheel drive and it turned out it only had front wheel drive. They compensated me because I asked for 4 new tires not them volunteering them. Not only that but when you purchase a vehicle from this dealership they hold you captive for hours until they finally get around to the paper work. At one point I was placated by being told by the "manager" that he would go in and make sure I was the next person. There were only 2 of us left at that point and it was obvious I was next but he apprentley thought I wouldn't notice. This dealership needs to get it together as far as paper work. If someone needs to come back the next day then that's what should happen. Not 4 and 1/2 hours of waiting. Then the next day they were going to install my tires. I was assured that it would probably only take 1/2 hour...so like a fool I believed them - 2 and 1/2 hours later I was still there and the tires were still "on route!" The "manager" then suggested I take a car and go to work and come back later to pick up my car. At this point I was furious. They never should have allowed that - they should have volunteered to take me to work and bring my car to me. I spoke to Jose about this and he went out of his way to try and make a horrible experience better. Again I have no complaints about Jose - it's the dealership I would NEVER buy from or recommend to anyone. More
