AVOID SERVICE AND CONTRACTS IN THIS PLACE! !! I have decided to buy my used car with this dealer in 2023, I decided to give them the confidence and peace of mind of being able to buy my car in !! I have decided to buy my used car with this dealer in 2023, I decided to give them the confidence and peace of mind of being able to buy my car in a "trustworthy" place but a year later everything turned into a nightmare, my car, although it was an old model, I bought it with them and also bought a warranty contract that they offered me called Zurich Protection to have greater peace of mind, because it happened that my car was damaged, I took it for service at this same dealer to have the peace of mind of having good service and attention. but the opposite happened, it took almost 2 months to repair my car, it turned out that the warranty contract did not cover all the repair costs and I had to take an additional $3.5k out of my pocket to the $3.8k that the warranty cost, this was absurd Because my car 1 year after purchasing it has cost me almost 3 times more than what the car cost, I think they are taking advantage of people who cannot buy a new car, who if we need warranty or repairs they do what they want and The answers are not at all kind to the customers, that is why I do NOT recommend this dealer for purchasing used cars and I do not recommend the additional warranties that they sell are useless, I DO NOT recommend the technical service department, take your cars to be repaired to another place More

I called and talked with Darren Roberts about pricing and he worked with me to get the price I wanted on an Explorer ST. Despite the fact that CDK Global had under gone a cyberattack Darren went above and beyond and was able to get to the price I was willing to pay. I was so impressed with the entire deal that I decided to temp fate and add a trade to the deal. That came in favorably as I had gotten multiple offers to sell it prior and had planned on doing just that. The trade simplified my buying experience as I could drive up vs fly in. Darren even called me on his day off when a family member was having a medical procedure to ensure everything would be correct when I arrived the next day. Since the entire software system was still down, they could not provide the print outs prior to my drive up from KY. Honestly, I was prepared to have to return home without the Explorer, because I simply did not trust that the deal was as good as it sounded over our phone conversations. Most salesmen and dealerships simply cannot be trusted. Refreshingly, this is NOT the case with Suburban Ford of Ferndale. Derrick Walker had his work cut out for him, manually entering all of the numbers with the CDK system down and never faltered. I can imagine most people would have given him grief over this issue, which was out of his control and I am sure some did. He certainly did not project any additional burden despite the trying situation and worked hard with a smile. What more can you ask for? He was courteous and engaging when he didn't have to be and honestly, he had reason not to be. I have been known to drive all over creation for a deal on a vehicle, it seems my new car buying destination is Detroit and I am certainly telling my friends about Suburban Ford of Ferndale. More
