I came into suburan waterford ford needing a new vehical due to my 02 honda civic being totaled in a traffic accident. Mr Stoll was not only able to get me and my wife financing but got my wife into a 2008 Ford Escape with very low miles. If it were not for Mr. Stoll's patients, and the help of the staff at waterford ford we would never had been able to get what we wanted with a very reasonable payment given our situation. Mr. Stoll's care and concern for our situation made this an easy and wonderful experience and I would recomend him to anyone in the same situation as our as well as for any care sales. Basically, gap insurance is this. The banks want you to buy it, about 500.00, because the dealership is asking more for the car then it's worth. So if you crash and total the car out it will be covered. The real issue with this is when we complained about it the sales person told us that AFTER we sign we can cancel the insurance out. The manager confirmed this. SO, you mean to say that after all the papers are signed and we pay out an extra 500 dollars for this insurance, which we were told was MANDATORY, the bank or ins co is going to send us a check back? After reading about Gap insurance I found out that many car dealerships get kickbacks for pushing this insurance because WE can decline it. Within two weeks our monthly payment quote went from 350ish to 500 to 398 a month for this car. All with the same amt down. More

If I need something or something is wrong all I have to do is call and ask for Shawn Porter and he will have me come right in and the problem is always taken care of. Before Shawn Porter was my service professional I had someone else who was jsut as good and I feared my great service would end. But I was so wrong. Shawn Porter is great and I couldn't be happier. I am always happy to come in for my service and will continue to do so because as I have told them there at Suburban Ford of Waterford I want my car to last til I am 80. I am 54. So thank you for the great service and the great service professional I have in Shawn Porter. I am also happy to say that Gary Loffman, the man who drives you home if your car has to be left there for a long time. Went to service dept since they were open late (after my work hours) for noise heard in front suspension. At first I was told they couldn't get me in because of service tech had left for day. So, I went to work hours) for noise heard in front suspension. At first I was told they couldn't get me in because of service tech had left for day. So, I went to talk to my sales rep about cross bars for roof rack, which he was able to get for me right away. Then he introduced me to Service Mgr who was able to distinguish the issue I was hearing front wheel and promptly fixed both front tires (tie rod ends or something like that). Under factory warranty. Very satisfied as I had cancelled another appt to just come there and take care of. Thanks for turning an almost waste of time drive over to a positive experience afterall! More
