I brought my 2013 Cadillac SRX Premium in and the part that I needed which was an Electronic Brake Control Module had been discontinued and they told me Cadillac can't replace it with a used part. This could be come dangerous for me, but as far as they were concerned it wasn't there problem. If Cadillac discontinues parts they should tell you where you can go to get it replaced and where to get the used part programed. If Cadillac wants you to buy their cars they should provide you with better service. When I called Cadillac customer service they gave us a list of places to call throughout the United States but no one had a new part or it was promised to someone else. I've always been pleased in the past. I think they should help you out when parts have been discontinued. More
I brought my 2006 xxx in for an oil change and general checkup. The dipstick was misplaced on the inner fender under the engine cover trim. Also, the "check engine" light stayed on after starting the eng checkup. The dipstick was misplaced on the inner fender under the engine cover trim. Also, the "check engine" light stayed on after starting the engine. It was off when I dropped off the xxx. Two of the engine cover fasteners were missing. I brought the car in Tuesday for the "check engine" service (OK Now). Parts ordered the fasteners. Chuck More
