Sun Toyota sales people engage in deceptive car sales tactics, such as: 1) Being told an extra $2,995.00 service (detailing, tire work, warrantee stuff, etc) wasn't optional but an actual required add-o tactics, such as: 1) Being told an extra $2,995.00 service (detailing, tire work, warrantee stuff, etc) wasn't optional but an actual required add-on of all cars. But *maybe* we could negotiate it off, *maybe.* 2) Refusing to disclose dealer fees outside of tax/title when asked. That would only be shared when I went to buy later.(That's not true. I found them later in fine print on their website.) 3) Online car listings that are thousands of dollars cheaper than the lot listing ($4-5k less for cars we looked at). So if you walk in off the street and are not a savvy shopper, or are uncomfortable negotiating, you'll get an extremely overpriced car. These were just a few of multiple negative experiences I had while visiting Sun Toyota today.... I suppose that is just what car shopping is like--high-pressure deceptive sales. But good, honest, strait shooting dealerships do exist. I have been to them. We will not go back. More
