A TERRIBLE car buying experience...we drove over 8 hours from SC to purchase, Feb. 8, 2021. Nael Barjas was our initial contact & was very responsive at first. I was in formed that we needed to pay $500 to from SC to purchase, Feb. 8, 2021. Nael Barjas was our initial contact & was very responsive at first. I was in formed that we needed to pay $500 to HOLD the car that wouldn't be used as a down payment. We were assured that the $500.00 would be refunded once we arrived. Needless to say...So while there, we met Eric Surano in finance. He was able to find me a lower rate...grateful. He asked if the $500 was to be a down payment. We said NO & we had a check in hand for the full amount of the car. He sold me an extended warranty, which I later canceled, & had me sign a contract which showed $500 as a down payment. He knew there was a time crunch so I didn't discover this until we got back to SC. I made several calls, to no avail. The run around was very apparent & the first 2 people I spoke with were completely uninterested in helping. The once responsive Mr. Barjas never returned my calls to address my concerns. They refused to let us speak with the GM. Finally got a call back from Eric Surano which resulted in nothing. He is the lowest form of human being...that is a liar, cheat, & thief. I ended up disputing the $500 charge through my credit card company & got my money back. DO NOT buy from this dealer especially if you are coming a great distance for they will surely treat you in a less than favorable way. This dealer is the absolute worst ever. How they manage a 5 star rating with their unscrupulous tactics is beyond me...a very poor representation of Toyota. More

I'm very satisfied with my experience buying an automobile from Sun Toyota. First impressions are very important. I was greeted at the door, and welcomed to the dealership. The receptionists are friendly, and competent. I was very fortunate to be introduced to D.J. Besida, I have to say that D.J. spent a great deal of time with me, discussing my needs and what I was looking for. I am now the very proud owner of a 2018 Toyota, thanks to D.J.'s diligence in helping me to choose perfect car for me, at a wonderful price. D.J. is very courteous, kind, and patient, and of course so knowledgeable . D.J. listens, and follows through. This was the first time I purchased a car on my own, and it couldn't have been easier. Test drove new and used vehicles. Dimtri, the salesman was nice and spent a lot of time with us but then didn't get us the $25 gift card promised and we have received no communication from the dealership. was nice and spent a lot of time with us but then didn't get us the $25 gift card promised and we have received no communication from the dealership. No survey or anything. I contacted Dimtri a couple of times and finally asked for a manger who sent us a card. Otherwise the sales process was okay. More
