We were already nervous and from past experiences with other dealerships with horrible rude pushy salesman you can understand why it felt like a dreaded chore to car shop. When we got there we were greeted by Rocco Lacera. I said to myself well yep here we go! Well, can I just say I have never felt as comfortable as I did this day! Rocco showed compassion to my anxiety and stress. He kept assuring me he would make this visit as pleasant as he could. He allowed me tell him what we needed and what we could afford. He listened and never steered away from our goals of shopping. He joked with us and actually made my visit very comfortable and FUN! We found and purchased a 2020 Toyota Corolla and WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! Thank you Rocco for taking the time and making us feel important and thank you for being so attentive while we sat waiting for finance to sign our papers! Wouldn’t Recommend I can honestly say that after visiting Sun Toyota and experiencing the costumer service. The reviews have either been bought or filtered through and the negative ones deleted. I originally made an appointment with one of the sales managers my family member has dealt with. But, upon arrival was told he was unavailable. So they set me up with a random salesman who “worked closely” with him. I was assured he could help me and I wouldn’t have to worry. I went in looking to trade in the car I have to use towards my new purchase or just purchase without. Well, after just 45 minutes (a ridiculous short sales attempt) and only the trade in option explored. I was told nothing could be done for me and was quickly sent on my way, not knowing I was given a load of BS/extremely wrong information. Then 2 weeks later they contacted my co-signer and intimidated them into not co-signing by giving false information and releasing personal credit history/information. I don’t know why they’d still have access to my information when legally they are required to shred it and aren’t allowed to give out ANY of my information if a sale isn’t established. I called to talk to the “general manager” and was told I’d get a call back (which never happened). I’ll be contacting corporate and the BBB to file an official complaint. I will also send an email to my legal representative to see what can be done about my credit information given OVER THE PHONE. More
