Would be hesitant to take a car from them if it was free. Then we were handed off to another salemen, who seemed to have difficulty understanding the concept of sales tax when paying off my trade in. Then they bring out Jason to talk to us, who was a total SOB to my wife and not willing to sit down and listen, just in a hurry to get us to leave. I can only assume because he figured we were not serious about buying, since it probably seemed we were just trying to lowball the heck out of the price, based on having the audacity to try to get at least somewhere close to the price that we were quoted. Meanwhile he's lowballing the offer for my trade by a good $2000 minimum and telling me it's not worth more than that when I had JUST come from another dealership who showed me the figures for what that model year is going for at auction and had their used car manager take a peak at the car and run it around the block. He refused to discuss anything relating to price and just sat there vehemently pointing at the numbers on the piece of paper and acting like we were the dumbest couple of yahoos to disgrace his showroom in quite a long while, meanwhile we hear other sales folks behind us standing in full public view in the middle of the showroom talking smack about a couple of customers that had just left. My entire experience dealing with Sunset had been FANTASTIC, right up to the time we walked in and were handed off to you to talk price. Then the whole ball or yarn came undone. My experience with Sunset Chevrolet went from "best every, would recommend to anyone and everyone who would listen" to "what a bunch of lying, sleazy SOB's" within about 15 minutes of being there. Then they have the nerve to send me a friendly email saying "hey, haven't heard from you, been trying to reach you". Bull. They have my cell phone number and email, and neither of those have shown any sign of you "trying to reach me" for the last couple of weeks. Beyond that, it was less than a week ago we were sitting in your showroom. The other dealership, only about 15 minutes away, had sent me a pleasant email thanking me for stopping by before we even got to your showroom that day, and you send me what appears to be an automated email from a CMS system a week after I left your place more angry than I've been in a long while after being jerked around for a half hour by a bunch of schmucks that can't get their stuff together enough to give me a realistic view of what the payment would look like for a car? I can GUARANTEE that I will NEVER do business with Sunset Chevroley. I'm buying my Volt from that other dealership, they one who was polite and friendly, and flat out told me there's no way they could do the price that Sunset had originally quoted me, but please let them know details on how Sunset pulls it off so they can compete. I'm quite certain they knew Sunsets business model was "xx them into the car", but they were far too polite to say it. I'll deal with the company that DOESN'T lie to me and isn't a rude to my wife. The only dealings I'll have with Sunset in the future is to blast them on any internet review or survey I run across. Rude, underhanded, sleazy, and incompetent. That's how I would refer to this company, and I'll be darned if I'd support you in any way. I'll be driving my new Volt next week, purchased from people that are professionals. More

I have been a long time customer and would not even conceder doing business any where else. I would also want to say thank you to Dave Goeke my sales person who helped me with the purchase of my 2014 Chevy cruze diesel. I have had the car for about a month and I just love it. I am getting about 42mpg some city and some hwy. and just got 56.7mpg on a trip to eastern WA. Keep up the good work you have a customer for life. Ron Price More

I had been saving for several months and when I was ready to finally make my purchase I was referred to David. He was so hopefully and helped me get the car I wanted at a price I could work with. College was not cheap and neither are my monthly payments on those loans. Buying a first new car can be scary and overwhelming but after working with David, I'm at ease. I love my new car and I'm not sure I could have made it work going elsewhere. Thanks David! More

Fraudulent Answers and Poor Service I had an appointment made via Sunset's web site. When I got to Sunset, prior to my appointment time I checked in and was told I had no appointment, I had an appointment made via Sunset's web site. When I got to Sunset, prior to my appointment time I checked in and was told I had no appointment, had the conformation in my truck that said I did. I was told that they would fit me in. I informed the service writer of my needs; 1- Free oil Change, 2- Tire Pressure warning light troubles (third time since purchase), 3- Battery Light illuminating twice in the last 5 months. 4-Check Engine Light On, 5- Wash the truck. I was told of possible charges when I stated I had an extended warranty and was told I had none according to their records, my response, yes I have a bumper to bumper three year or thirty-six thousand mile GM plan. Again was told can't have they don't sell that plan. I went to my truck and presented the service writer my copy of the warranty. I was told it would take a couple of hours to repair, two hours I am fine with that. Communicated the TPS concern being over-sensitive and not being repaired in previous visits, the service writer then proceeded to tell me that that is the way it is and tried to make me feel as if! don't know what I am talking about, being a person with a mechanical aptitude and knowing something about cars, I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday, you can see how far I got and was told they will reset the parameters. I was in the waiting room and again the service writer contacted me about the battery light problem, was told that nothing could be found on the intermittent problem, but his tech told him I should be plugging in the block heater in temperatures under 40 degrees, wrong, if that was the case, it would have to be plugged in 9 months of the year. Do you think I would buy this too, I'm not stupid. The check engine light went fine I had the trouble codes scanned prior to taking the truck in. The free oil change not a problem, but talking to others in the waiting room who had appointments, I was told they routinely takes an hour to and hour and a half for the free service. A lot of time for just changing the oil and filter. I feel that if you get you should get a vehicle inspection as well, great selling opportunities, but no. I feel that you should be giving a customer a quick inspection in order to make your customer aware of current or possible future repairs. The last complaint is minor but, every visit I have asked for them to wash my truck, has it happened no! I said that was the last complaint, not. When you are done with the vehicle and park it in the lot for pick-up, you don't stack vehicle in front of it. I am disabled and it is hard for me to get in and out of my vehicle enough, but having to run back and forth to get the vehicle moved hurts. I am a dis-satisfied customer and would like some answers. I have been a loyal coustomer of Sunset for years but hae never worked with DJ before. He make the entire process, from beginning to end, a pleasure. The after purchase care has bee the best ever and I know he and the rest of the staff are there to assist with whatever needs my arise. This was a 10 our ot 10 experience. More
BEWARE OF THE LIFETIME POWERTRAN WARRANTY SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! Purchased a used GMC Denali and within 4 months during first oil change was advised the oil pan was leaking and it was a seal. I th SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! Purchased a used GMC Denali and within 4 months during first oil change was advised the oil pan was leaking and it was a seal. I think perfect, good thing I got the lifetime powertran warranty. Only to find out there is "FINE PRINT". I was told the oil pan is covered for any failure and if it fails the gasket is covered, but in this case because just the gasket failed it is not covered, $475 please. How does an oil pan fail unless it is punched wrong or something of that sort? Very disappointed and I will not be purchasing another vehicle under this cheesy warranty. More

Plus to top the cake, they gave me a lifetime warranty on the vehicle that is good anywhere. I plan to drive the 45 minutes out of my way just to have it serviced here. I believe in trust and have worked at dealerships before and its hard to find a good company and salesman like they had here!
