We had a great experience at Sunset Chevrolet. The peeps that took care of us were extremely helpful. Sean reaching out to me is what got us in the store to buy our dream car. Vanis was very friendly and patient with us and all of our many questions. The gentleman in the Finance department was greatly informative and we enjoyed chatting with him. They even gently coached us back to the lot when we got lost during our test drive, ha. More

Mechanics seem to do extremely good work. No issues with anything they have done over the years. My biggest complaint has to do with the service writers. Everything starts out well with communication but qu anything they have done over the years. My biggest complaint has to do with the service writers. Everything starts out well with communication but quickly goes downhill. There has been a lack of communication from them every time I’ve taken our vehicles to them. I try to be patient because I too work in a similar environment. But when I go days without any information or a heads up of an issue I start to reach out and try to find out a status. Many times I’m told that I will get a phone call back from them and it will be nothing for another day or two. It’s pretty crazy that there is such a lack of communication. It’s to the point where I now shop around for dealers and have to base my repair work on who may be the fastest and closest to where I live. Unfortunately Sunset Chevrolet is low on my list of where I want to take my vehicles to. Like I’ve said, me mechanics have been great, service writer communication is greatly lacking. More

Well came in to fix thermostat because of check engine light. Picked up vehicle after the call it was fixed only to have to vehicle overheat and coolant on floor had to tow the vehicle back to service cen light. Picked up vehicle after the call it was fixed only to have to vehicle overheat and coolant on floor had to tow the vehicle back to service center was stuck on side of road until tow came. Great service from Christine to get me loaner vehicle and stated they will reimburse for cost of Towing the vehicle. I just hope they can get the vehicle fixed on Monday due to service being closed on Sunday and it was end of the business day for sunset Chevy. Had vehicle towed there after hours and keys in drop box. sales associate was ending their night luckily was still there and GM got me my loaner vehicle. I know this dealership will do the right thing and get me taken care of. More
