They told me the car needed intake and exhaust solenoids and that the repair estimate would be about $600. I bought the parts for less than $30, and it took me 20 minutes to install them. How does this build loyalty and confidence? I only did the work myself because about 6 months ago, they wanted to charge $800 for L&R front rotors and brake pads. Said there was "heat damage" on them. The rotors were warped, but there was absolutely NO signs of damage at all. (I still have the rotors and pads,, if you car to see them-I also have photos) That entire repair cost me less the $150. They also are very, very cold, impersonal and rude at the service desk. They act like I am a problem that must be dealt with. When I bought my car there, the first oil change came with an smiling faces and an onsite car wash (as promised in the "lifetime oil change" aggrement), but with each oil change, the additude, service and car washes went totally downhill. It has been over 2 years since I have been offered a car wash (tokens for a remote mechanized chain across town), and over 6 years since they have wash my car onsite; "we're too busy/the car wash is broken, etc." My wife and I attended the new owner's getogether, and we were ready to buy ALL of our cars there (Sumner Sunset Chevrolet). As things stand now, not only would we not buy another car there, I am wanting to do my OWN oil changes because the treatment I'm subjected to is just not worth it. More
