Mike Sensmeyer was my front desk person. I came in on Monday, Dec 15, at 0830 to get an oil change. He informed me that I needed some additional fluid changes done and that it was going to be an all day Monday, Dec 15, at 0830 to get an oil change. He informed me that I needed some additional fluid changes done and that it was going to be an all day process. So I left my vehicle and had the driver take me home. At 5:06pm, Mr Sensmeyer called to inform me that they hadn't even taken the vehicle back yet. He asked if I could leave the vehicle overnight. When I checked my vehicle in, I informed them that it was our only vehicle and that I had to have it by closing business. I could not leave it overnight and we picked it up. Mr Sensmeyer called back the very next day and profusely apologized and bent over backwards to make sure that I knew that if I could bring the vehicle back they would get me done in one business day. I had to wait until December 15th to bring it back in. They got it done in 4 hours. I have always been very satisfied with Sunset's Maintenance on the vehicles that I bring to them. This was just a bad set of circumstances. However, when I called Sunset back around Halloween to have my vehicle put on the schedule for scheduled maintenance, I never got put on the list. So I've been waiting for 3 weeks to get maintenance for nothing. Mr Sensmeyer has gotten me put on the list for my engine light. I think Mr Sensmeyer needs to be recognized for his above and beyond customer service. More

Overall we were happy with the deal. Our issues came after the purchase as the car had a TCM going out so we took it in to their other location as their service department was on strike. We were told a week to get the part and it still isn't done after 3 weeks. They said it's safe to drive, but it lunged us forward twice which is why we took it in, so thats a huge concern as to why they would want us to continue driving it. But they refused a rental and said to just drive the car as is. I'm not happy about that at all. They have now had the car longer than we have since buying it. They also told us we bought the best warranty plan for interior and then said we didn't a few days later. It's concerning that we feel a tad taken advantage of and no one wants to help us, we have been lied to and one has been downright rude at the Waterloo location where the car still is. They stopped updating us, will not give us answers. And now all of the car history on the Ford app has been erased. Someday we will get our vehicle back, at least I hope. I made a payment on a car I've only driven for 2 weeks in total. So for sales, our sales guy was great and the sales manager was reasonable. But service and the finance guy (mind you I had my own loan, but his loss about what we purchased have been over the top) have been sketchy and difficult. More
