His knowledge of the Toyota 4cyl engine, reliability and safety convinced us (that) the 2010 RAV4 would be a perfect fit; we sent pictures to our son ( at district meet in Jackson, Mo.) and he and his buddies LOVED the selection. New F 150 purchase We were greeted by Cory and told him we were trying to decide between a new/used explorer or another F150. We were impressed with his knowledge of both vehicles and felt very comfortable with him and he soon had us test driving several vehicles. We asked for a price on three different new F 150's that we narrowed down to and he discussed this with Jason and promptly gave the price to us. We still had trouble deciding whether to go with the xlt or the lariat so we said we would sleep on it and get back to them tomorrow. they both said they look forward to seeing us soon and we left. Well after deciding on the one we wanted my wife went up there the next afternoon and was informed the one we wanted was just sold. She then looked at the higher price one and got a very good price on that one from Jason. We decided we were going to get the higher price one and when i got home from work we went up there to purchase the truck. That's when the 100 year plus family dealership became a "buy here pay here" type dealership to me. After being invisible to them for a few minutes I asked Jason (who didnt seem to be too happy to see us returning) to page Cory for us, who came to us asking if I got his text he sent me which I did not . He then told me they gave us the wrong price and would need another $ 3,400.00 tp purchase the truck. That was the end of my experience with Sunset Ford. Like I said, it was a very good price so it sounded like Jason made a mistake in giving us the price because we were talking about several different trucks, different prices. Everybody makes mistakes, but its how you deal with them that makes the difference. anything from a simple sorry. I made a mistake on your price or going through with the price he gave my wife. If that would have been the case I'm sure we could have come to a solution that would have been good for both parties. More
