I bought a truck from Sunset and they sell on this great service and maintenance crap but ever since I bought there’s been issues, fuel filters, wiring harness problems and I paid out of pocket for items that should have been seen during the truck arrival, but they fail to do this on used vehicles. I will never go back to Sunset ever, I recommend anyone to stay away from this company. The service Dept is a joke, again the staff put talking to friends and talking shop before helping actual paying customers. More

Excellent service department Had a major problem with my vehicle. When I called and explained the problem, the sevice dept got me in the next morning. They made a shuttle available to me to go to lunch, and Desiree kept me informed about the progress of my vehicle. I will be making Sunset Fords service dept my go to place for all my vehicles needs. Screwed up my warranty repair and tried to blame battery I have a 2012 Ford Focus that I look in to have the clutch and transmission seals replaced per a service bulletin from ford. When driving home after I have a 2012 Ford Focus that I look in to have the clutch and transmission seals replaced per a service bulletin from ford. When driving home after picking my car up, all the dash warning lights and alerts started going off, my gauges stopped working, radio went out. It continued to do this every time I drove, for 2 days until I could get it back in the shop. Took the car back to the dealership, they looked it over and proceeded to tell me it was due to my battery starting to go bad and corrosion on the connections, and then proceeded to try and get me to spend $340 to replace my battery. And few things wrong with this. During the warranty repair, I also had them do my oil change and vehicle health report. No corrosion notes. So my battery started corroding writhin 24 hours of the report? Also, there was enough juice to START that car, at which point the alternator takes over. I told them they were full of it, and they must have found what they screwed up and corrected the problem. Instead of admitting fault, they tried to blame it on something else. My suspicion is they left a ground strap off or loose. Also, it’s been a full week since I picked up my vehicle. I have not changed my ‘bad battery’ and the problem has not happened since. I guess I must have a magically healing battery. More

I was told to got to the accounting to get my paperwork and pick up my keys. The second issue is that they didn’t wash the car.
