Just What I Was Looking For I was driving past on my way to St Louis to car shop and decided at the last minute to pull in and see what Sunset Ford had to offer. Went in for an oil change and got a new car???? What a difference a oil change makes. I went to get my oil change and was looking at just some of the cars. Jerry Edwards came up to me and we started talking, about the Ford Explorer, next thing I know I was sitting in a 2015. Well that is a little above my price range. But Jerry knew right away two SUV that I might be interested in. It was love at first sight with my 2013 Ford Explorer, I couldn't have ask for more on my SUV. And to top it all off, we never felt pressured and to me that is important. Jerry was fun to work with, because I like to have a fun but long lasting relationship with my dealer. I loved Sunset Ford in Waterloo, they have always been so helpful and ALWAYS there for me and my husband. Feels good to be treated like family. And I cannot say enough About Jerry what a great guy to work with , look forward to making years at SUNSET FORD. Happy Truck Owner I have found that buying a new car/truck has always been a rather stressful experience. Even though I knew I had to, I was not looking forward to thi I have found that buying a new car/truck has always been a rather stressful experience. Even though I knew I had to, I was not looking forward to this task. We have been looking for sometime now and when Truck Month got here I was sweating bullets. I knew the time had come to actually do this. I had met Jeff Bakken in a social setting prior to stopping at Sunset Ford so when my wife and I got there I already had someone I wanted to work with. He was great!!!!!! Very easy to work with. He searched the system for the right truck with all the options we were interested in even in the correct color combination. He turned the car buying experience into an exciting one. After the purchase, he has continued the excellent service by first explaining how all the systems worked and has gone out of his way to help us get the bed liner and bed cover we wanted. He took his time and was patient in providing information on the vehicle's options. The sales crew were very friendly and the showroom was clean and very presentable. Although, the vehicle we were interested in purchasing was not at the Waterloo dealership, Jerry drove to Sunset Hills to bring it over for us.
