My Explorer went to Sunset for an engine replacement. Needless to say, and regardless of who was doing the work, I was initially concerned with the process and supply chain issues. Their service department kept me informed at every step, and the tech that was responsible for all the work was top notch with loads of experience. The single thing that made me confident with it all is when the tech who did all the work came out to greet and face to face with me. He explained everything he did and provided pictures, and discussed every question I had. At no time did he make me feel like he was in a rush. Very professional, very competent, and took pride in his work. Couldn’t ask for more. If you’re like me, a wrench turning shade tree mechanic, and you have to farm the work out, this is where you want to take your Ford. Anything from a simple oil change to a major overhaul, count on these folks. More
