The salesman was new but was very nice and willing to work a deal. I signed off on one deal but when I went to close, the deal I signed was no where to be found. Furthermore the deal I signed was done in blue ink while the final deal was presented with multiple changes made in black and without my initials. Despite the changes I might still have worked the deal further until Texa, from the back office, stepped in. She was rude and unprofessional in both appearance and in demeanor. Instead of admitting the deal changed, she spoke despairingly about my trade and told me I wouldn't get a better deal any where else. For point of reference I should say that I'd purchased from this dealer In September 2009 and found the process pleasant and professional. Since then I'd purchased 3 Kia's from Suntrup Kia and had nothing but praise for that dealership and their professionalism. But I will never and I can not stress this enough NEVER! Return to Suntrup Hyundai. Since this incident, I've made it a point to tell everyone I've encountered this story. And by the way, I was able to trade my car in, get the deal I wanted and still get lower payments for the same 60 months I would have financed the car through Suntrup. It's sad that one, clearly power hungry, negative employee can ruin an otherwise perfectly good experience. But in this case the employee was so bad that I hope no one ever makes the mistake of working with her on another deal. More
Dave Bible and Gary Curtright from service were incredible. They did everything they could to make sure I was taken care of after a break down on a BRAND NEW HYUNDAI... even stayed later than servi incredible. Dave could tell I was over heated, after being stranded for an hour in 106 degree weather, and got me inside and a cold water. They even had my car cleaned for me. I couldn't thank God enough for such amazing people and all around awesome service. I would reccomend this Dealership over all I've ever come across. What great service I received bringing my little accent in for 30,000 mile check up & new tires. David Bible was so nice, accommodating and caring. He listened to my concerns, gave thoughtful recommendations, put me in a very nice rental, he made me feel fancy and special and the work was completed before expected. I know that when I go the Suntrup Hyundai that I am going to be well taken care of and they do not take advantage of me...refreshing. Most people take the service aspect of the dealership for granted. You need work, you get it done. I want to compliment one of Suntrup's service advisors, Mr. David Bible. In a word , he is the best at wh granted. You need work, you get it done. I want to compliment one of Suntrup's service advisors, Mr. David Bible. In a word , he is the best at what he does. He is not just a face taking your appointment. Dave knows cars inside and out. I trust in his advice as he really cares. What I like about Dave is that he is a no nonsense guy. Thats not to say he isn't friendly, because he is. He can swap stories with the best of us. What I mean is that is he is not one of those over zealous salesman types that tell you you need a "johnson rod" or a cabin filter when you don't. He doesn't talk over your head where you can't understand him. Dave explains what the technician found and what he did. He will tell you what you can hold off on and what you need to do now. No pressure. I have never written a review before, but I am so impressed by Dave that I want the Suntrup's to know what asset they have in him. I will also pass kudos about Dave to the service manager. It's like when you eat out and your server is so good that you want to give them recognition somehow. You want them to be rewarded for their service. That is how I feel here. In closing, we are a four Hyundai family and I am in the dealership quite a bit.
