Our first impression of Mike Wright was good, but the more we worked with him, we found him to be deceitful , deceptive and dishonest. After confronting him with our concerns, he avoided us, failed to return calls, made deals he couldn't keep. A sincere apology goes a long way, but it's not in his vocabulary. The same goes for his supervisor, Merced. He told us that we should have just bought a brand new Hyundai instead. He too made offers to resolve issues with Mike Wright but failed to follow through. We were quoted a price and interest rate on a car, agreed to it, then went to sign the papers and they changed the amount and rate. I wish we knew this Dealership had a D+ rating when we were there. Oh, good luck getting your title. Search the web, you we see more of this and details. Great car, LOUSY DEALERSHIP, don't work with Mike Wright and know you have to negotiate for basic minimal customer service at best. More
I have been a LONG time customer at the Suntrup (Hyundai) in South County- but this last time, in April 2013??? THE VERY BEST!!! You see I had need (bad) of a better more reliable vehicle. One night I had a dream (TRUE STORY) well at that time in real life I was driving a Tiburon (which I ALSO purchased at the same dealership) I think I have been with these same folks for maybe 12 years and 4 new cars lol :) SO- in my dream? I had a Tiburon (in real life of course)..... but then when I awoke I suddenly no longer had that car. NO...... I had a new "white" car.. (???) I had been meaning to call the dealer for quite some time in regards to my old Tiburon, to see if they could help me get out of that- and in a new car. BUT I NEVVVER EXPECTED WHAT HAPPENED THAT VERY DAY! I emailed and called the dealership on this day- and AS GOOD AS THEY ALWAYS ARE TO ME??? :) They asked I come in right after work that very day I had had that dream. I NEVER expected to drive home that night in a BRAND NEW CAR :) ......(but I DID :) Here is the "are you kidding me"??? part. So I wake up the owner of a 'white' car. (IN MY DREAM)....... (??) That night after work (keep in mind this was all on a whim for I had NO PLANS to get a new car right then (but really did need one for many reasons).... So I get to the dealer, and they not only 'knew' what car would be perfect for me...BUT THE ONLY ONE AVAILABLE ---- WAS A WHITE CAR !!!!!! :) (like my dream lol) Told ya- unreal. So I test-drove that white car and LOVED IT. But wait! There's more!!! lol... IT GETS BETTER............................................ ....at the last minute - I spotted,.... and was offered an upgrade car (same model as what I test drove)- but.... in the color *Metallic SkyBlue*. OHHHHHH I FELL IN LOVE :) And as always, Fred, Chip, and especially that Texanne :) - (finance lady) - WELL THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE BIZ AND I WOULD RECOMMEND ALL..... FOR THEY ARE NOT JUST 'DEALERS'..... they truly care about PEOPLE AND THEIR NEEDS. This to me is pure satisfaction. Well..... A DREAM COME TRUE - LITERALLY !!!!!! The icing on the cake was I may not have drove away with a 'white' car as I awoke that same day from dreaming of.... BUT I BELIEVE THAT NEW CAR CAME FROM THE HEAVENS ITSELF ;) THE GOOD LORD SENT ME A *SKYBLUE BEAUTY* - STRAIGHT FROM THE ALMIGHTY HEAVENS!!!!!!! and I am TOTALLY SERIOUS. My testimony and 'review'?????????? Well I could go on alllllll day - but I think the above sums it up - to a *T*. *TOTALLY TAKEN CARE OF* and a very happy customer. I drove my old car for 18 years and knew I wanted to upgrade to a Sonata. Tony was amazing! I didn't get tot he dealership until after 6 but drove away a few years later with my new car!! I liked the 2013 but needed something more affordable. Transitioning from no car payment wasn't easy! But Tony happened to be driving a certified used 2011 that was perfect for me! We drove it and I was sold! I don't remember negotiating becasue the price was right for me. So here I am almost 2 months later and I still peek in on her in the garage every now and then and am SO proud to be a Hyundai owner!! Thanks to Tony and his team for treating me right and fair. I have been telling everyone they not only need a Hyundai, BUT they MUST go to Suntrup to get it! Thanks! More
Tony Schumann is the BEST car sales man I have ever worked with or talked to. (and I have two friends that sale cars and I won't buy a car from them, LOL) I have told all my friends/family/and co-worke worked with or talked to. I have given out all his cards already. I can't THANK Tony enough for getting me into the Hyundai Tucson, I love this SUV more then I ever liked my Toyota Camry!!!!! I hope Tony is my car sales man for life!!!!!! The Tucson handled so well in the snow the past few days, I am SO glad I got the SUV before this snow, I have NEVER felt safer then I do in my Hyundai Tucson!!!!!! Thanks again, Tony and Texanne (in financing), for being so wonderful. You two are very special people and so wonderful to work with. We just purchased a 2007 Santa Fe from here and it was one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. I had been dealing with 3 other dealerships and Tony from Suntrup Hyundai worked the hardest f one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. I had been dealing with 3 other dealerships and Tony from Suntrup Hyundai worked the hardest for us to get into the vehicle we chose and for the type of financing we were looking for. We knew going in that we did not have the best credit but these guys were able to get us financed and save some money! We live an hour and a half away from this dealership so when we got there, the deal was already in place. Thanks again for one of the best experiences I've had at a car dealership and look forward to seeing you guys again for future vehicle purchases! More

We bought a new Hyundai Sonata and had everything set to go. Our first mistake was signing over our trade and taking a loaner car for the night until they got our car into the lot. We set up with our dealer go. Our first mistake was signing over our trade and taking a loaner car for the night until they got our car into the lot. We set up with our dealer for me to meet him the next day to look over the car to make sure it was to our satisfaction and take it home. We were supposed to meet at 2pm. I got there the next day at 1:30 pm and was told he wasn't there yet but on his way. In the meantime his wife was going to take our final paperwork and finalize everything. She came out and said there was a problem with our paperwork and we were going to owe $500 more than previously stated. When I told her no, that was a breach of contract and we would cancel and go some where else she said her GM wouldn't let us back out of the contract but she would go talk to him some more while our car was being "cleaned" and readied for us. An hour later after arguing and her saying she was calling the main headquarters I finally said, that's fine take your time my husband is calling our lawyer to get advice on what we should do. Well miraculously the headquarters called (not 2 minutes later) and said our deal was fine we could have it at the original price. Seriously, for $500 you are going to ruin someone's new car buying experience? Also our dealer never showed up as agreed upon the previous day, and I didn't get to leave until 3:30 or 4pm More
This is the second car I've bought from Tony and I can tell you I will never go anywhere else. He listened to what I wanted in a used vehicle and gave me some great options. They got me in a SUV that fit my needs and price and most of all they did it quickly. The Dodge Journey I bought is comfortable, roomy, and just a beautiful all around vehicle. It was the first vehicle he showed me. I test drove it and fell in love. Texane was wonderful getting me a loan approved that also fit my payments and loan term. Her get it done attitude is something everyone should strive for. She got the loan quick, asked me if my payments were ok, and that was it. She is very valuable to your dealership and you are very lucky to have her as an employee. The last person I saw was Lindsey. He had all my paperwork in order as usual, explained everything clearly to me, I signed and I was out the door in my car like that. No fuss, no muss. I will recommend those 3 people and your dealership to everyone and I have.It was an absolute pleasure to work with Tony, Texane, and Lindsey and I hope to do business with Suntrup Hyundai in the future. I actually started my search for my car online. I talked with Tony several times. Even though the car I was interested in was sold over the weekend he searched for another one and found one at Suntrup Niss with Tony several times. Even though the car I was interested in was sold over the weekend he searched for another one and found one at Suntrup Nissan next door. He had it brought over and my husband and I went down and test drove the car. I loved it immediately and was given more for my trade in than I expected. While they were doing the state inspection and cleaning the car up we walked down the street to get a bite to eat. There was no pressure at all and was a very pleasant experience. I hadn't bought a car in 10 years and was very happy with the whole process. I would definitely recommend Tony and this dealership to any one. More
