On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

I've bought 6 vehicles over the years from Suntrup Kia, Hyundai, and Nissan and I've never had a bad experience with the associates or vehicles. This dealership, like any other organization selling and buying new and used cars, is not without its quirks. For starters, the three cars we found available on the website that motivated us to pay a visit buying new and used cars, is not without its quirks. For starters, the three cars we found available on the website that motivated us to pay a visit, were not there when we arrived. Next, our salesman was new on the job and still learning his role on the team. He was kind, polite and even a bit humorous. He did locate a car for us from a sibling KIA dealership half a state away and got it shipped in for us. The lady working in the finance office, on the other hand, had forgotten entirely that we were the clients. She forgot that our choice of lender superseded her choice of lender on our behalf. We even brought in a letter of pre-approval from our lender which she scoffed at and commented: “Oh, I don’t work with them.” And she proceeded to attempt to get me to sign for a loan from a different bank whose credit offer was .01% better than my lender. .01% is hardly a difference worth switching lenders over! I think I made her very upset when I refused to sign. She kicked us out of her office!! But I did get a copy of my purchase order prior to that eviction. I sent a photo of the document to my lender. He was at the dealership in less than 30 minutes with a check. Funny how that works. Money is money no matter the lender. We drove away 5 hours later in our new car. Were it not for Mark and his kindness, I think we would have walked away from Suntrup without buying a car. More

If you value honesty, integrity, and your credit score stay away. BJ is not someone you want to be handling your transaction. BJ does not follow through on what he says. He will run your credit when yo stay away. BJ is not someone you want to be handling your transaction. BJ does not follow through on what he says. He will run your credit when you're already approved via your own lender, and will be very difficult to work with if you need to cancel an extended warranty when you get rid of a car. Our salesman was amazing in getting a new car sorted out, however BJ is extremely disrespectful, rude, and lies until both parties are present. We have purchased 5 cars over the years from this dealership. After how my mother was treated I will not be returning for the 6th purchase. As a side note, this review is directly for BJ. Our salesman and other we worked with are generally outstanding. When it comes down to it though, BJ is the person who is handling the credit information, and BJ can be the most impactful in the damage he can do to your credit and monetary future. More
