What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

Really excellent service every time and even better now with texting and video of work done or needed to be. Brian has always taken great care of me and my car. I took my car in for an emissions inspection. Cindy was extremely efficient and pleasant. She got the car in immediately so that my wait was very short. This was especially important to me as I am 70 and extremely efficient and pleasant. She got the car in immediately so that my wait was very short. This was especially important to me as I am 70 and was concerned about waiting a long time with the pandemic. Cindy's personality and efficiency is a great asset to this dealership - she is an asset to the team. The dealership was clean and the people waiting were well spaced out so I felt safe waiting. The cashier was also very pleasant and efficient. Also, a few days before this visit, I stopped in as I had a warning light on and couldn't figure out what it was. Brian helped me then - it was low tire pressure and he quickly and pleasantly filled the tires so I could get on my way. He is also a great asset to the team. More
