What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Just a decade after Bill launched his first dealership, his brother Don joined him, and together, they laid the foundation for what would become the Suntrup Automotive Group.

Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

Excellent, relatable service Moe really made the car-buying experience significantly better than I could have hoped for. Just purchased a 2020 Kia Soul, my first new car in over Moe really made the car-buying experience significantly better than I could have hoped for. Just purchased a 2020 Kia Soul, my first new car in over 10 years, and of course I was really worried about getting a good price and most importantly the best vehicle that fit me. You could tell Moe was really experienced and passionate about Kia cars and wanted to make sure I got a good value and all the safety features I wanted, without any pressure. Even though we were in a rush due to Memorial Day he and the rest of the sales team did everything they could to accommodate us. More
