What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Just a decade after Bill launched his first dealership, his brother Don joined him, and together, they laid the foundation for what would become the Suntrup Automotive Group.

Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

My time at Suntrup Kia was awesome! I was emailing with one of their salesman, Easton before I had went up there and was very helpful! When I got there, Easton was with another customer I was emailing with one of their salesman, Easton before I had went up there and was very helpful! When I got there, Easton was with another customer so Tony helped me out. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. He was very professional and worked with me on finances. He made great conversation which was nice due to the wait for all the paperwork. He also explained everything very clearly so I knew exactly what I was signing. Definitely recommend everyone to go here. More

Enis was so helpful during the entire process and very prompt with communication about the vehicle I was interested in. Everyone that I spoke to at the dealership was friendly!
