Recently, last October my older son bought a 2012 Toyota Camry and last night we just bought a 2013 Honda Acord. We are happy with our purchases. Gary is a good guy and has always been fair and willing to assist us. So yes I would recommend Gary and Sussex Honda. My cars are serviced there as well. They have a great service department too. Found and bought a car the same day I found a car I liked on their lot, they were able to price it right around my price range, took the car for a test drive, loved it, came back later t I found a car I liked on their lot, they were able to price it right around my price range, took the car for a test drive, loved it, came back later that day and bought the car. They aren’t there to screw you on a ride, they want to see you drive off the lot that day in a car that fits your budget. They don’t try to hassle you on a price that is over your price range like other dealers do when they don’t get the numbers you want. More

The test drive was way longer than any I have ever taken & I'm over 70 & have purchased several cars, new and used.. I told Chris this car was for my wife & she had to see it before I bought it. He told me to drive it to my house, 10 miles away, and let her see it. Unbelievable! I drove it to my house & my wife liked the car. I drove back to the dealership and bought it. There was no pressure at all. Chris offered to show me several cars like the CR-V, older, newer, less and more expensive. This one fit the bill. If this buyer-seller relationship continues as it started, I'd give Sussex Honda the highest rating. More

Great salesman poor service department We had a great purchase experience with Roger, he was professional and made the purchase process very easy. Our problems started the next morning whe We had a great purchase experience with Roger, he was professional and made the purchase process very easy. Our problems started the next morning when I found our new Ridgeline with 24 miles on it was leaking transmission fluid, I called Roger who told me to bring the car back on Monday morning. When I arrived on Monday they wanted me to rent a car and I refused and left, I was later told that I only needed to pay for the insurance and I also declined to pay for additional insurance. I dropped the car off and got a ride home, I called them the next day and they could not find the leak ( I did take pictures so I have proof) They didn't want to be bothered with the car or its problems and became combative whenever I spoke to them. I called Honda of America and opened a case on the car, and they advised me to take it to Hackettstown Honda to get it check ( We are waiting for an available loaner car). When I went to pick the car up they once again became combative about it, granted by this time my demeanor was not the best after the service department turned a good purchase experience into a problem. In summation purchase your car from Roger and he will treat you well but take it somewhere else for service and forget the oil changes for life they are only at Sussex Honda and you don't want them near your car. More
