Went in for a test drive, left with top of the line, brand new, 2022 Nissan Sentra with more safety systems that I had with a 2021 Chevy Traverse. Our sales rep Ricardo C., was amazing! My daughter purchased a 2021 Hyundai Kona from this dealership, during the "sale" we were told it was a certified preowned car. After purchasing the car, my daughter discovered the horn wasn't working dealership, during the "sale" we were told it was a certified preowned car. After purchasing the car, my daughter discovered the horn wasn't working and went back to Sutherlin Nissan and was basically told that we needed to take it to Hyundai to be covered under warranty, if they fixed it we would have to pay diagnostic testing etc, even though they sold me the vehicle with a broken horn! I explained my concern for my daughters safety while driving without a horn in Central Florida and was basically laughed at by two employees and told that a non working horn is "no big deal". When I asked them if someone is cutting into her what is she supposed to do without a horn? Well..... the YOUNG man graciously educated me that "you need to slam on the breaks" and I guess pray that they don't hit you, rather than use your horn! Obviously Sutherlin Nissan ONLY cares about the sale and not the customer!! I WILL NEVER BUY another vehicle here nor will I ever recommend them. If you are looking to buy a car go somewhere else......if you are Sutherlin Nissan reading these reviews might I suggest you invest in some customer service classes for your employees!!! More
I traded a 2007 Toyota today for a new car. The entire staff was nice and friendly. It was an amazing experience, especially with Tobic Edouard. He was very professional and informative. Sutherlin nissan is a familiar place to me, I've been there multiple times, bought a vehicle and service it there too. Mark Santana has helped me the many times I've been there and has been nothing but the BEST. This is more about the SALES MANAGER MATHEW KIMMEL. I reached out to Mark Santana and told him that I'm interested in leasing the new Frontier, he gets in touch and we set up an appointment. I walk in Sutherlin with my friend to help me out since he has experience, looking to lease the pro4x frontier only to be met with I cannot lease that frontier and that it's not available to be leased (this is coming from the SALES MANAGER). I know this is false, so I had to go to Nissan's website and find the information that says that the pro4x has a lease special and show it to the SALES MANAGER. Still he did not want to lease it out until we said we were going to call nissan and find out. That's when he came back with some ridiculous numbers for a lease on top of that he was RUDE, SNARKY and CONDESCENDING not willing to work with us. The crazy thing is while I was there I called REED Nissan and inquired about the same vehicle they came back within seconds with yes you can lease it and a break down of the lease, I came to the conclusion that MATHEW KIMMEL was denying me of a purchase for whatever motive. I've been disrespect before but NEVER at an establishment where I'm going to spend my hard earned money and I'm the customer. If MATHEW KIMMEL is the best Sutherlin has to offer then the Nissan brand and Sutherlins are in trouble, who knows what other poor souls he has taken advantage of. More
I had my car towed into service because it wouldnt start. It was determined that computer was dead and could not be repaired. Nissan no longer manufactured them since my car was 10 years old.
