I'm 55 & a heart patient, my car was stolen I'm February & unfortunately I trusted Swickard Honda to help me find a good car at a fair price. Instead they took all mu money and the car I purchased and never have refunded me as promised - they lie, manipulate and use nasty tactics to try to force you into thinking that you have no choice but to let them screw you- I've had to get an attorney . It's rotten that a major dealership would take advantage of a senior citizen with heart disease - they even stranded me at their dealership & because I demanded time to think before I signed anything they refused to help me get home after the brakes went out on the wrecked car they tried passing off as accident free- I was in wind & cold I had not been prepared for because that morning I has a car - it took me over 3 hours to get home and triggered terrible pulmonary edema with severe swelling in my legs and feet I still can't reduce. These are people who play very dirty and have no conscience. Beware. ! More

I purchased a car Friday I was assured was safe &in good working order. 1.5 days later the car Swickard Honda had sold me nearly caused an accident due to catastrophic brake failure. They sold me a car the working order. 1.5 days later the car Swickard Honda had sold me nearly caused an accident due to catastrophic brake failure. They sold me a car they knew was ba a total loss unreported to DMV. They offered me another car - a car that was 2 years older, had 45,000 more miles & was priced over $2500 under what I paid for a 2016 Kia Rio tgat they concealed its true condition & when I opted out of the warranty& refunding me as required by law to do, they they refused telking me they would return $800 out of the $2000 they charged me & no adjustments inflating price of Ford Fiesta that despite being over $2500 less than the car I'd purchased from them fewer than 48 hours prior based on their assurances that the car had been thoroughly checked out and approved by their top notch mechanics - ironically and quite interesting to note is the fact the brakes had just been completely redone in the car I bought so there was definitely an awareness that the car brakes were not good . What I was told by another mechanic was that the car was damaged from a wreck , probably cracking the u- joint & that the former owner of the Kia & the dealership opted to conceal the car's factual history in order to inflate its value instead of reporting that they had a wreck that irreparably damaged the car making the car worthless and never should have been offered for sale. The fact that it was really tells you all you need to know about how much you & your family's safety matter to the people at Swickard Honda & they put me and that car out in traffic - if the brakes had failed on the freeway, or coming down Highway 10, that incident easily could hace been much worse & Swickard Honda risked the lives of everyone I crossed paths with. The dealership then stranded me in Gladstone away from my broken down Lemon they sold me and far from home. I had dared to tell them I did not feel that what they were demanding I consent to , trying to force me to accept the Fort or walk & theyliterally left me stranded in Gladstone , I'm 55 and one of the most pressing reasons I needed a car was so that I could schedule and maintain appointments with my cardiologist because I had a heart attack in November and as a result I have experienced a substantial loss of stamina and it is much harder for me to get around without having reliable transportation. They did not care that I did not have a coat because I had originally set forth in a car so despite having severely swollen ankles from pulmonary edema that made it especially painful for me to walk for me I walked to the bus stop & suffered through a nearly 3 hour ordeal to get home. When I called for Roadside assistance that came with my purchase no one could help me because the car was still registered to the woman who brought the car in for sale which also is cause for concern as that car has been in their possession for some time now- almost 2cmonths they have had it on the market. Swickard Honda obviously elects to title jump which is just another indication of their total lack of integrity. If you shop here, beware. They are grossly negligent, greedy and lack basic human decency. Treating me like dirt after defrauding me out of $10,000 that I worked hard for.... it is absurd for such a large company to rely on dirt bag tactics but if you search Swickard Honda on the Oregon Attorney General's website, you will definitely find numerous other instances of Swickard Honda intentionally selling bad cars, overcharging and making unauthorized changes to customer accounts, hiding unnecessary add on charges - they told me I had to pay for all the paperwork to be changed and resubmitted to the DMV because of their unethicaldecision to sell a car that it's prior owner totalled but never reported. I have used this Service Center for years with my Hondas. The staff is usually very responsive and helpful. Evan Guilford was informative and respectful. He answered my questions in a very timely manner. The staff is usually very responsive and helpful. Evan Guilford was informative and respectful. He answered my questions in a very timely manner. The accommodations for customers who have to wait an hour or so, are quite comfortable. There seems to be a high turnover of staff but maybe that’s typical of the industry. A few times I have needed a ride home and back, when my car required several hours of work. I appreciate Swickard’s help with that transportation; its one of the reasons I keep coming back! More
It was overall I had a great experience, and never felt experience pressure to buy the experience of the fact that the new CRVs sell quickly, besides that Sean Day and Jeff, I apologize I forget his last n experience pressure to buy the experience of the fact that the new CRVs sell quickly, besides that Sean Day and Jeff, I apologize I forget his last name Were very good, and the information from the moment called about inventory to driving off the lot. The only thing they were pushy about was the warranty when I said I could get it cheaper from an authorized online seller. They said it wasn't legal when in fact it is (see succacci Handa, it's about 1500 cheaper for the same product because they sell it at a break-even price). But they did knock down the price a bit for the warranty and didn't charge for the wheel locks and all-weather mats. The only other thing was I never saw a Costco pricing sheet which I was told by Costco id see, so I don't know if I got the true Costco price so be sure you see it and are dealing with a Costso-trained person as I don't think he was because he wasn't on the long of people Costco listed.
