Swift and courteous service. Tyler was exceptional in his overview of the services rendered. As my only vehicle, I had to wait for the service to be completed, but the techs did everything in their power to overview of the services rendered. He confirmed which car we were there to see, showed us the car, did a test drive and got down to do business. He was very helpful with financing and really made me feel comfortable through the whole thing. He gave the good news and made sure we were happy with the whole process. I was charged $ 459.65 after tax for a part that costs $ 334.22 on the online parts department. And to assemble that part, which it took them less than 30 minutes and I knew this when Zachary came to ask m 334.22 on the online parts department. And to assemble that part, which it took them less than 30 minutes and I knew this when Zachary came to ask me on which one of my car they were assembling the part. That tells me they haven't even started the work until he came to verify with me which is around 30 minutes of my arrival. Around 20 minutes later I was called and charged $ 191.25 after tax and was told its for an hour labor work. At that time, it wasn't even an hour yet since my arrival at the Swickard Toyota of Edmonds. I understand they have to make money too but over charging people only makes me look some other place for service. More
That Tyler dude need to get trained on customer service and his job. I usually don’t write reviews if it is negative but this is the second time it’s happening and I do not expect it to happen again if I’m and his job. I needed a new key and FOB. The parts department took my $ over the phone and transferred me to be be "scheduled" the following day. I realized after she transferred me she'd taken my card and $, but hadn't $ over the phone and transferred me to be be "scheduled" the following day. I realized after she transferred me she'd taken my card and $, but hadn't asked, and didn't know my name. In hindsight, I realized I wasn't a person or customer, just some $. The phone rang and rang, no one picked up. I called Debbie in parts back and advised no one had picked up. She immediately transferred me again to be scheduled. Once again, after a couple of minutes ringing, no one picked up and the call died. I called Debbie back again, but now she did not answer. Hmmm. So I called and spoke to the hostess who was polite and concerned to hear my story. If there is hero here, it was her. She got someone in scheduling to set me up for a 10am. Scheduling to pick up a key and FOB seemed a little over the top, but so be it. I arrived on time, parking inside as the signs said, but no one approached me, so I went to find my contact, "King." When I found him he was handling another customer so I politely waited. Another employee directed me to go wait my vehicle. So I did. A maintenance guy arrived, took my keys and now I was directed back to King. Fine. King told me to wait in the waiting room. After an hour, I got pretty irritated. It was a key and FOB, I had an appointment, and I needed to go. Had some one, anyone, given me a clue about the dealership needing more than 20-30 minutes, then I wouldn't have other appointments to get to. I was now angry but calm as is my nature, so after and hour I stood quietly near King until he glared at me "What?" "Any idea how much longer? It's a key man." And within 5 minutes, we were done. As a one time student of "The Toyota Way," aka Lean... I suggest you take an honest look at your flow. Debbie's apathy is to me, unforgivable, and King's irritation, anybody can have a bad day, but it was real money to me, and it was my time. I cannot recommend your dealership and will take future business elsewhere. More
