Matt Austin is one of the worst Service Department representatives that I have ever interacted with. He never showed one ounce of compassion or empathy. He never once apologized or tried to make the s representatives that I have ever interacted with. He never showed one ounce of compassion or empathy. He never once apologized or tried to make the situation better (only worse). He has no communication or people skills. He would not look up from the computer to speak to us and would not respond to our numerous phone calls. He would only communicate through text message with very vague and unclear responses. We tried multiple times to speak on the phone with him and never received clarification on anything. He inconvenienced me and my family multiple times. We never once received any sort of apology from anyone. The manager, Joe, also was very rude. He also did not help to come up with any solutions. We were belittled by both Joe and Matt Austin. Hyundai has incorrectly painted there cars and will fix your car BUT they will only do it one issues at a time instead of repainting your whole car at once. They also will not provide a loaner despite it being their fault. We were told we would get our car back in 4-6 business days but that was not true. When we initially dropped the car off we were assured that we would be updated on the status of the car throughout the week and we never once heard from Matt despite our numerous phone calls. Matt also lied to his manger Joe about not receiving the messages. I only know this because a few minutes later he admitted to getting the messages! The whole situation was handled very poorly. Called and scheduled appt. They actually had one for the next day. Pulled into dealership and was greeted immediately. Was given an estimation of 1 hour for service.
