Satisfied despite disrespect. I came across Terterboro’s advertisement on social media, called up and scheduled an appointment. I’m a sucker for a good deal and so I drove 1.5 hours to this dealership to check out their, as advertised, many options when it came to a Dodge Ram 1500 express. I showed up at the agreed time and was told to wait for a representative to be with me. It was fine, as it gave me a chance to check out the 2018 models. I had been looking at trucks, unaproached for at least 15 minutes, which I knew to be a true 15 minutes because I took several calls and looked at three different trucks. I don’t know if there was some confusion as to who was supposed to approach me or if because of what I was wearing (a hi-vis jacket that I wear for work) that no one came to talk to me. It was after that period when a salesman, who was outside almost as long as I was, came up and introduced himself as Jason. He was friendly and enthusiastic while greeting me and brought me inside to talk about the trucks after I had disclosed to him my financial standing and credit score. While sitting in the special finance department another salesman wearing a white button down, came into the office and proceeded to yell in my face, at Jason and Sam who were helping me. I was already claimed by someone else and I was escorted to someone else’s office. Ira was in no way at fault or invoked in this exchange and he was extremely informative and helpful even though I found as I was not able to purchase a car. I found that employee to be rude and disrespectful that he speak and treat his coworkers that way in front of a customer. I returned later that day after work, to consider a used Dodge Ram and was impressed with the hard work both Sam and Jason devoted to my credit application even though it was almost closing time. I am strongly considering a used car from this dealership and recommending them to all of my friends, family and work buddies for their auto needs. They both went above and beyond today and turned my whole car buying experience around. More

At first the Insurance Company was going to repair the vehicle. I called my salesman, John Falaco to find out if the dealership had a body shop. He never called me back.they subsequently totaled the jeep. So I went to the dealership to lease another jeep. The salesman was very inattentive to our needs. We wanted to test drive a Cherokee, but he said they had none available to test drive. This was on Wednesday. He said to come back on Friday. We left and went to Ramsey Jeep and had a very favorable experience. More

Not what I expected Be aware of these guys… The search for a vehicle can be frustrating; with online prices, inconsistent information ‘chatroom’ discussion off the dealer Be aware of these guys… The search for a vehicle can be frustrating; with online prices, inconsistent information ‘chatroom’ discussion off the dealership websites and car salesman/manager conversations, you never know what you might get. In my experience, I found a vehicle to look into that was listed lower than most others in the mileage and year range at this dealership (that should have been a warning sign). I started a chat with an online representative to discuss more particulars. The online representative was not able to find the vehicle on the computer that was supposably listed within the past few days (warning sign?). So, it was stated that someone would get back to me regarding my questions. I waited for that person to reach out to me later that day, and all I received was the automatically generated email preparing me for someone to contact me (warning). After not being contacted for a few hours, I decided to drive directly to the dealer to look at the vehicle in person. It was not in the section of the lot where I could see it, so I walked in to speak with someone about it. The gentleman I spoke to, was nice as we shared pleasantries and he located the vehicle on the computer. He was able to find it and went to get the keys. He did not grab the correct keys initially and had to get the correct set from the manager (are all keys behind the managers desk?). As we walked to the vehicle, he told me that the vehicle was repriced due to a mistake with the initial internet pricing. So the printed online listing that states “Ad is a coupon, must present ad prior to sale.” and “U pay what U see - no hidden qualifications required***No gimmicks, No games!!!” could not be honored. Upon looking at the vehicle and walking back inside, the sales manager’s best deal was $1000 off the newly listed price. This made the per month payment initially $300ish to now $500ish. Not even close! Many comments were made about the dealership reviews, I guess I should have looked because Yelp has some questionable experiences from other customers/those looking to purchase/lease. I left the dealership deflated and a more aware consumer. However I have a few suggestions for the management at the dealership. Suggestion for the management - There is a drastic disconnect between the online chat services and the in-house representative. As I am writing this review, I still have not been contacted regarding my online inquiry 3 to 4 days later. The online posting within the description of the vehicle specifically states “U pay what U see - no hidden qualifications required***No gimmicks, No games!!!” I felt there was something going on. It was stated to me multiple times… “Check our reviews,” bait and switch is not how we work. Yet there we stood, with an error looking more questionable every moment. ***If an error was found with pricing, ALL staff (both in-house and online) should be made aware of such a error as soon as possible so they can inform customers immediately after inquiring about said vehicle. Mistakes do happen, but I spoke to 2 different people (one online and one in person) about the same vehicle and it appeared that neither of them where aware of the error until I was at the dealership. There is a lapse in information sharing. Don’t waste people’s time! I can understand how errors can occur with price of vehicles, however at no point did I feel that the staff at the dealership were willing to work to make things right. The best offer that could be made was $1000 off the newly listed price. Don’t financially insult people that are hoping to make a deal for a $300 per month payment with a $500+ per month payment… it would have been better to say we are too far apart on the numbers. Hopefully the dealership can learn from this experience as well to make car shopping a less frustrating experience for shoppers and staff alike. More
