The salesman Mr. Paul Schiess was very knowledgeable and helpful as was the staff who handled the paperwork. I was left with a positive impression of your company. During the past year I have been similarly impressed with Mr. Tom Warner and his service department. I returned to Teton Volkswagen recently on Sept 19th for service on my V.W. and while there I visited with Paul Schiess and expressed an interest of possibly purchasing another vehicle for my spouse. Mr. Scheiss walked me next door to Teton Toyota and introduced me to Monty Davis who proceeded to sell me a Toyota F.J. Cruiser. As with Mr. Shciess ,Mr. Davis was knowledgeable & helpful. The paperwork, extended warranty,ect. was efficiently handled by Mr. Rudy Lopez and Mike Welker. I have always believed in complaining in writing when I have had an unsatisfactory sales/service experience and thus feel a concomitant obligation to write when I have had a positive experience hence this memorandum to document my complete satisfaction with Teton Volkswagen and Teton Toyota dealerships. I wish to commend you for running such a good company with a friendly & competent staff. I took with me business cards from both Monty Davis and Paul Schiess & I will gladly hand them out here in Montana to friends & acquaintances who are interested in purchasing either Volkswagen or Toyota Products! Rentals Tried to rent a Prius V on the "try before you buy" program. They would not take a debit card,even if I offered to have them check my credit. Don't believe in credit cards and only use debit cards. Even though I rented a car from Alamo for a week in Nashville using only a debit card, this dealer thought it too "risky" to rent one to me. Nice, but not mindful of you I went into this dealership to look at a new Toyota. The salesperson was great (I did not leave his name because I didn't think it would be fair to downplay his work because he was a nice guy). I was seriously considering getting this new vehicle when he brought the sales manager over to me to negotiate a price. I can't tell you how many times I told him that I need to make sure it is ok with my wife before I sign any type of documentation. He responded many times, "Just sign now, and she can sign later." They were VERY pushy which drew me away from the dealership. I thankfully made it out without any obligation after a few arguments. Like I said, they were really nice people but more concerned about their numbers than my needs as a customer. More
