I drove 200+ miles to be a return customer I've leased a vehicle with Autobarn Mazda previously so my review may be biased because I've worked with them before. However, because I am familiar with them, however if there were any disappointments during my most recent experience, I'd like to think that I would more likely point it out in this review so that they could improve. I leased a Mazda3 about 3 years ago. I've since moved to Michigan. But at the end of my lease, I CHOSE to drive out to IL and turn my Mazda back in to Autobarn, just so I could interact with them when selecting my next vehicle. They treated me well 3 years ago, and I thought that deserved a (250 mile drive) return customer. I was not disappointed. Chris Reis and Chris Norton treated me like family. They remembered who I was and brought up funny details from the last time we met and they went OUT OF THEIR way to make sure I got a vehicle I liked. Chris Reis was super patient with me even though I was ridiculously picky and he drove me back and forth multiple times (on the same day) from their lot to the showroom whenever I changed my mind on what to lease. He also wasn't sassy when he had to repeat the different features of every trim that I kept forgetting - super nice and professional. Chris Norton (whos the finance manager now, but 3 years ago was the consultant who closed the deal on my first car) did his best and got me the vehicle I wanted for the price I wanted. 10/10. If both Chris R. and Chris N. are still at Autobarn 3 years in the future, when my new (current) car's lease ends, I will have NO qualms about driving whatever distance (again) to lease my NEXT Mazda from Autobarn too! Unlike other car buying/leasing interactions which tend to be dreaded or feel like a chore, They made the whole thing a pleasure. Keep up the good work and keep people like Chris and Chris around. More

Radio/CD Player Fixed I had a car accident in December 2018. Took my car to the Collision Barn, the sister company of Autobarn, to repair my car. After I got my car back I had a car accident in December 2018. Took my car to the Collision Barn, the sister company of Autobarn, to repair my car. After I got my car back from the Collision Barn, I had problems with my CD player wanting to turn on and search for a CD. I told Denny at Collision Barn but he was reluctant to do anything about it. When I told Simon, the Mazda service rep at the Autobarn service dept, he knew I was a very good customer and have always been upfront to report any problems with my car. I told Simon I did not have this problem before turning my car over to Denny at the Collision Barn. Simon spoke to manager Denny at Collision Barn, and reluctantly Denny said he would pay for the cost of a new radio/CD player and I would have to pay for labor. My favorite mechanic Rich put in the new used radio/CD player and always does a great job. Sadly he reported that the replacement part was defective and I had to come back when they found another one. So I recently returned and had the second replacement installed. Hopefully that is the end of this but I think the constant turning on the car with the defective radio/CD acting up drained my battery. Now I need a new battery. I really do love my team of Simon and Rich at Mazda service but I am not too keen on the Collision Barn auto body shop. More

I was a bit concerned as I headed over to Mazda without an appointment. When I approached the desk in the car bay, the greeter was busy filling out paperwork and simultaneously another advisor arrived with yet more paper (Jay Rosenfeld). They started a discussion but stopped immediately when I approached. I said, no go ahead finish up as I did not want to interrupt. They both insisted on helping me right away. So I told them about the tire and then it was obvious to me by their discussion that they were eager to help. Jay assured me would take of the work. I was ushered into the waiting room and less than an hour later I left. They had found two nails and both were taken care of with a smile. Jay thanked me for being a return customer and that is precisely why I have bought my last 4 cars at Evanston Mazda. Their service is unbelievably good. The waiting area always has good coffee and cookies too! Thank you Jay, you made my day yesterday ;-) Scott More

She provided us with efficient service and we were able to get the tire fixed just in time -- the next day I drove my wife to the hospital to deliver our baby! More
