It was handled professionally. I was able to pull my car in immediately & have the service person take care of me right away. My appointment was at 8:00 & I was out of there by 8. I was asked for contact information & soon after getting home received a message as to how to contact the service area to get updates on my car. Upon my return, my car was pulled into the Bay Area as it was raining & I needed to be shown how to use the auto start, which was a very nice gesture. Overall Experience Most recent service was for an. Oil Change. Service was excellent for oil Change. However I recently purchased four new tires for our Outback. Wh Most recent service was for an. Oil Change. Service was excellent for oil Change. However I recently purchased four new tires for our Outback. When making an appointment I request time for installation, balancing, and a wheel alignment. I presented an email containing several coupons for a discount on the tires and work. Service Manager, Tom Fennewald, spoke with me while I was waiting and told me that a discount on the tires was not available. He asked me to send him by return email the original email sent out by Subaru. When reviewing the work done I saw no charge for wheel alignmen. So I decided to ask Mr. Fennewald about the missing wheel alignment. Did not receive a reply so sent same email a second time. Again no reply. With in a couple of days called service and asked why a wheel alignment was not done. I was told wheel alignment was checked and service rep felt “it was close enough.” Have to admit I felt answer did not leave me feeling very confident. Would have preferred to have known exact numbers and range of acceptability. More
