Upon entering the dealership we were greeted by Josh Tornabeni , since we had investigated the type of vehicle we were looking for (SUV style) and comparing it to our DTS Cadillac, Josh showed and dis Tornabeni , since we had investigated the type of vehicle we were looking for (SUV style) and comparing it to our DTS Cadillac, Josh showed and discussed in detail all the various options and aspects of the Odyssey and Pilot models. Josh was very knowledgeable about the various product lines. He then provided us with the various booklets for us to review. We did not elect to test drive the vehicles at this time, since we were still checking other dealerships, but I must say we left the dealership with a wealth of knowledge. After visiting various dealerships we returned several days later for a test drive. Josh accompanied us on the ride and explained the various aspects of the vehicle in greater detail since this was our hands on experience, where as at other dealerships this was not the fact. Upon returning from the test drive and with total satisfaction of the performance of the vehicle we decided to purchase the Odyssey 5 TRG Elite. We had specified that the color to be Smokey Topax with the Truffle interior, which was not available at Honda of Joliet. Josh went to check on an availability of the the color and our options, he came back and stated that one had just come in with the color scheme and all the options. To the wife and I, we both felt that Josh put out that extra effort to satisfy his costumers. He had the vehicle brought to the front, in order for us to see if it was to our satisfaction, upon agreement he then coordinated the paper work and sale of vehicle to minimize our wait. As the car was being prep we completed the paper work with Dan, and we were then introduced to the service manager and parts people. Do to the timing Josh gave us a few quick review of the basic operations of the vehicle so we able to drive it home safely. The following day we came in and Josh spent several hours going over in great detail all the aspects of the electronics and mechanical attributes of the vehicle. Josh showed that he was concerned for our needs by explaining and keeping us informed during the entire purchasing process. Thanks again Josh for all the help and information. While car buying/ shopping is very stressful and prolonged for most people especially me, Mr. Ferguson changed my perception of car salesmen! There should be more people like him! As I walked into Honda of Joliet I was greeted in a very kind manner by Oren Ferguson. Oren made me feel like I was at home. Oren took the extra time to go over all options with me and had shown me how every option that was available to me worked many different times. Any question that I had Oren could answer very clearly without any hesatation. There was no haggleing about the price. After doing my own research I found that Oren quoted me the best price he could and I was very Happy. Oren went above and beyond with evertything he did and made it a fun and very enjoyable with many laughs along the way. I would never go anywere else then Honda of Joliet and talk to Oren with knowing that I would get the best care and respect there is. I have referred a young man to Oren and again Oren was on top of everything and wasted no time and gave 100% + more and spent many hours making this possable. The young man walked out of Honda with a new Civic and was very delighted with Oren and the vehicle. I have recieved many phone calls thanking me for helping out this young man. I usually hate shopping for a new car but this experience went very smooth and was hassle free. The price for the new car was bottom line and not a lot of negotiating back and forth.
