Fernando was friendly and seemed like he cared. The service was great as usual. The estimated time of completion was very close to the actual time of completion. I mentioned that I do mostly highway travel and wasn't sure if I should have them install an air filter, to my surprise Fernando said "Lets pull it out and see". It was a very simple task but he jumped in there instead of guessing or giving me a story, he pulled it, showed me that it was in fact dirty and in need of replacement. That along with polite courtesy gets this young man a gold star in my book. Sometimes it's the little things that people notice. Good going Fernando! People do notice! More

Working with Josh was a pleasure. We bought a Civic from Josh back last fall. We new that when we wanted to look at the Ridgeline Josh was the perfect salesman to go to. My nephew insisted that I go to Honda of Joliet. I am grateful for his suggestion. I was exhausted looking for a car but not too exhausted to make sure I got what I could afford. Josh listened and took notes and called back. Wait a minute! I looked at several places and not one salesman told me I will call when I have a car for you. I test drove so many cars that did not meet my needs. Prices were too high, Heard stories about car after car, I felt I was babysitting car salespeople because there are alot of bad vehicles with lot of leaks and damages, customer services too long, cars needed this or that buy the car and we will fix it. I was tired and emotional and then There was Josh Tornabeni at Honda of Joliet. Josh Tornabeni was great customer service, found and gave me a great price, a tour of Honda of Joliet service department. JoshTornabeni had the car up on the lift for me to see under and explained everything and told me what to look for and what to watch out for. Patience, because I took a couple of visits before selecting the car he found for me. Now I learned a lot from this buying expericence, and the one thing is I can drive by the dearlership daily without any regrets. Honda service department Riley, Heidi, Bob and the full time am staff had me bring the car back three times to check under the car to be sure of the prework done before I bought the car was in working order. It was done at my convience and they assured me I had a great car. I think I do.! I in the past have had work done in the shops and worry while they work that something else will go wrong. Let me assure anyone that the feeling of " being taken advantage of is not present at the Honda of Joliet." My sincere thanks to Honda of Joliet for doing what they do best. The greatest thing the family of Honda assures the customer is that they want to go home and not have worries either. Go to Honda of Joliet and have the same great experience that I did. Good People, Good Service, Good Price Great Overall Experience. I am giving this rating because I work hard for my money and family. I need a safe car to travel to work everyday. One day when I brought my van to the store for scheduled oil change,I was approached by a very warm, friendly Oren Ferguson, Honda staff at the showroom.He's got that genuine sincerity on dealing w/ client's concerns, no pressure, just listening and discussing options and possibilities. Looking for a Accord coup. Meet Richie Moffett on a Friday. His friendliness and professionalism brought me back the following Saturday. Unfortunately he was out ill that day but then I meet Josh Torna Friday. His friendliness and professionalism brought me back the following Saturday. Unfortunately he was out ill that day but then I meet Josh Tornabeni. Again Josh’s friendless and professionalism was refreshing. Josh presented himself with a no nonsense attitude and a desire to be as accommodating as possible. He is patient, calm, honest and willing to do what he can to gain a customer’s trust. I have purchased many cars for a multitude of different dealerships, between Josh, Richie and the rest of the staff that I worked with at Honda of Joliet this was probably the smoothest, least stressful and just plain pleasant experience that I have had. And by the way the Accord coup that I purchased, so far absolutely fantastic, I am very pleased. Josh, Richie Thank you. More
I made this insanely easy. I found a car online, called to see if it was still on the lot, took it on a test drive, stated that I had found the exact same car (hatchback, not a sedan, and with ~10k miles m to see if it was still on the lot, took it on a test drive, stated that I had found the exact same car (hatchback, not a sedan, and with ~10k miles more on it) at a competitor that same day. I gave the competitor's pricing and breakdown for my trade in, and asked for them to beat it by $300 to get me at my $11,000 price limit. They did. Overall, I left a happy customer with the car I came in for... but really, I did all of the work myself. If I was more experienced and knowledgeable about the industry and this process, I know I could have gotten a better deal. One major thing I regret was not getting BOTH keys for the vehicle. (I was only given one key. Had I known that it costs $80 to have a spare key made, I would have had $80 deducted from my total price) The salesman I worked with (Joe) was a nice guy who didn't push me for a purchase in an overbearing way at all. It was nice working with him and his manager, Chris. Joe was, however, somewhat unorganized and ill prepared with some paperwork... my drivers license was not returned to me after making a copy, said copy was lost, the inspection paper for my trade-in that I signed was somehow lost the next day, etc. He disclosed that he was still a "new" employee, and I think with a little more experience (and perhaps not being in shock about this easy sale that somehow fell into his lap?) will be valuable to the team. I'd like to make a special note that a salesman named Oren was VERY friendly and fun to just be in the presence of while at this location. I also met briefly with Kurt, who was friendly and helpful as well. Everyone I came into contact with was in good spirits and offering their assistance. The one thing that made me slightly uncomfortable was the numerous comments I received about "looking good" in the car I was preparing the purchase... one employee said, "you'd look great in that car, but then again, you'd look great in anything" which I don't think is a very professional approach when dealing with a serious customer. Overall score: 7/10... again, though, I made this a really easy sale. More
