Did not want to spend time in dealership initially. I requested the dealership contact me re the model I was interested in (Versa). Matt Fredericks responded promptly from the dealers internet group. Traded e-mails and obtained more specifics about equipment options at different version models. Able to decide without going to dealer what I wanted. When I was ready, Matt arranged for me to take a demo car and drive it for a few hours. Did more more comparison with another make and model, and then made decision to move forward with the Nissan. This was a 2-week process. Matt stayed engaged, knowing he was interested but not trying to "oversell" me. A phone call set up a meeting and 30 minutes later I was at the dealership. Matt had worked out the pricing with discounts and incentives and everything was as stated during the two weeks. Signed the deal with Zach Stilson assisting in the finance dept. Matt even drove the car to my house and I drove my car, then returned Matt back to the dealership- and this was 10 p.m. Matt was supportive, informative and had my interest up front at all times. AWESOME experience every time. I stopped in without an appointment for service on my jeep. Greeted promptly and adviser really took the time to understand my concerns. He didn't try to sale me service I didn't need and was not pushy. After my information was taken I was escorted to there lounge. There lounge area was very comfortable, they had free wifi, free coffee and even a soda machine. My advisor came back after a short time and reported the findings of my jeep. There were some items to address in the future that would be needed that I had time to prepare for. I love the fact that they didn't try to sale me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. My adviser told me he would come get my just as soon as they were done. A short time later he walked me to the cashiers desk and went over my paper work. I really feel like they went the extra mile to help me maintain my vehicle. After I was finished they walked me to my car, that they had pulled up front of they building, owe and they even washed it to! Thank for the great service you guys ROCK! More

TRIANED TO BLAME THE CUSTOMER I am not one to take time to write reviews, but this is the second time the Nissan has driven me to write a bad review. The first one was after the salesman who sold me the car called yelled and threatened me for giving him 4 out of 5 stars….. How dare I not give him a perfect review. I stopped using that Nissan dealership and have been bring my Leaf to Tim Dahle Southtowne for service. Being a new leaf I have only brought it in 2 times both times I have had serious issues, thus this review. But unfortunately, as much as I like Nissan cars, it seems that owning one means being treating like a sub-human for the entire ownership of the car by the people who represent Nissan at the dealerships. The first time I made an appointment to have my tires rotated, which took 2 hours… After sitting around for 1.5 hours a salesman noticed that I had been there a long time and asked what I was in for, told him, and next thing I now they were working on my car and it was finished in 30 minutes. Finished but with the front license plat completely bent out of shape, I am guessing from the car wash. It so bent I had to take it off in the parking lot and straighten it out. I could of asked them to do it, but I didn’t want to wait another hour. This time the car, which has under 7000 miles, started making a weird noise at low speeds, so I made an appointment 5 days ahead of time, took xxxxxx that I could bring the car in. I left work early and drove to the other side of town 5 minutes early for my appointment. When I arrived I was informed that they could not service my car because it was too late in the day… I made an appointment for the time that I arrived, shouldn’t of they told me that it was too late, or not let me make the appointment for that time? So I asked if I could leave and have it worked on the next day, at which point they informed they couldn’t because they were already booked. They also informed me that it was my fault for expecting to be serviced. According to them that is not what an appointment means. Their definition of an appointment is you can show up and might get your car serviced if they aren’t working on someone else car. They then proceeded to make it sound like it was my fault for expecting to have my car service and that it is rude of me to show up at my appointed time and to have my car worked on. They couldn’t control that they were working on another car at the time and I should not have an issue that they are turning me away. I THINK NISSAN TRAINS TO COVER UP MISTAKES BY PUSHING THE BLAMING ON THE CUSTOMER. I then asked them why they can’t push people the next day back like they expect me to be ok with, and they told me they couldn’t because those people had appointments, which again is what I had. They then proceeded to ask if I wanted to make an appointment for next week? Really, so I can go out of my way to bring my car in to be serviced and be turned away again? I hope the problem isn’t something serious!! Anyways think before buying a Nissan. The cars might be nice, but it is not worth being treated like crap for the entire ownership of the vehicle, at least that is how it seems to be in the SLC valley. More

5-Star Dealer of a 5-Star Automaker. Let me state I had the pleasure of purchasing a new Nissan Rogue from Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne. This was my 7th Nissan purchased (Love Nissan! Very Let me state I had the pleasure of purchasing a new Nissan Rogue from Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne. This was my 7th Nissan purchased (Love Nissan! Very under-appreciated automaker.) from 4 different dealers. I have had great to very exasperating buying experiences. I have left some dealerships exhausted -- some I have just walked out. Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne was a great experience. Car-buying can be stressful regardless of where you purchase. You are making a decision to spend thousands of dollars on something that you want/need which will impact your monthly finances for 5 to 6 years. Brad Woodward and the Tim Dahle team made it as painless as possible. Upon arriving on the lot, Brad came out and greeted us. We explained what we needed, what features were unnecessary for us, and our budgetary requirements. Within a few minutes Brad returned with keys to test-drive several vehicles that met our specifications. Upon driving the Nissan Rogue we knew it was the right vehicle. Following negotiations with Brad and the sales manager, we came to an agreed upon price and value for our trade-in. We quickly proceeded through the financing process and found our new Rogue washed and waiting for us in a lighted bay. Brad reviewed the features with us again and helped us transfer our belongings from our trade-in to our new vehicle. A very smooth, professional process. Here is where Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne exceeded our expectations: Due to an error by the bank, our original financing arrangement fell through. The Tim Dahle team worked hard to find a better solution. The interest rate was much better, but the terms cut into our monthly budget deeper than planned. When the general manager became aware of my concerns he quickly jumped into action. He invited me to sit with him personally to discuss the matter over lunch. He understood my confusion and worked diligently to find a solution. Within an hour he corrected the matter in a way which exceeded my expectations.
