This wasn't the case here at Tom Ahl. Jeff Skelly was truthful, honest, informational, and down to Earth. It felt like he was just a friend helping me find a car. Like I said, it being my first time and me being young I had a lot to learn about applying for a loan and figuring out what prices I could afford and so on and so forth. Jeff was real about what banks look for in first time car buyers and truthful when he knew I'd need a co-signer ( due to little credit history) to get the best deal for myself. He didn't spend his time selling me on a car or pushing me to go for something better ( more expensive )....instead he informed me about the cars I liked and was looking at....not leaving any details out but still not pushing to buy. In fact, he spent more time teaching me about cars, loans and in general how buying a car all works than selling anything to me. I appreciated that more than I can express because that isn't taught to us when we're growing up and are still kids....we kids get thrust into the world without any experience on how to apply for loans, balance checkbooks, etc and we look to the people who've gone through that and are familiar with all of that for guidance and that's what Jeff did for me. It was a great learning experience and I'll never forget the experience I had at Tom Ahl. When I need a new car I know where I'm going. More
