Tom Gill is Just Fine I had a very pleasant experience dealing with the product specialist Chris Wilson. He was able to answer all my questions that I had. I was not so impressed with the financing department as I found them to be rather persistent, even after I told them what I was looking for in a monthly payment. I felt that they were to pushy in trying to get the sale. I ended up going over the monthly payment I was looking for. What they don't seem to understand is car payments are more than just the car payment, they are also insurance and taxes that are do every year. If you go to this dealer ask for Chris Wilson as he will not steer you wrong. More

Special People Treat Others The Way They Want To Be Treated I went into Tom Gill with my 80 plus year old parents to look for a new car to lease. I explained to the young lady who greeted me that we were just I went into Tom Gill with my 80 plus year old parents to look for a new car to lease. I explained to the young lady who greeted me that we were just there to "try a few cars on," to see if my parents could get in an out of the vehicles easily; that we were visiting several dealerships in the Florence area that day. Tom Gill was the first one we visited. I do not remember her name, but she was very friendly and welcoming. She was actually serving another customer, and ask me to wait for just a moment, that she would get someone to help us. Again, I/we made it clear to her that we probably would not be buying a vehicle that day as we were just starting our search. After waiting just a minute or so, James Hargis approached me asking how he could help. After explaining our intent to James, I was kind of expecting him to show us a vehicle, then work his way out of the situation. It had nothing to do with James, I just knew there were others coming and going who were there to buy a vehicle. I/we were pleasantly surprised as James never once made us feel as we were not important. Even after my dad reminded him more than once that we weren't there to buy, but just to "try on", James couldn't have been more caring. He handle both my mother and father as if they were the most important people on earth. He answered every question posed to him and encouraged and welcomed them to sit and experience the two cars they were interested in as long as then wanted. When we left the Tom Gill, both of my parents raved about how nice James was and how gracious he was towards them. We visited two more dealerships that same day, and neither one treated us the way James Hargis did at Tom Gill. James is a young man who knows what service is all about; "treating people the way he would want to be treated." He treated my parents the way he would want his own parents or grandparents to be treated. Thanks James, for being the caring professional you are and for making a physically challenging situation very enjoyable for two older people and their son. More
