Tom Gill's commercial that states "we will beat anyone" is not true. They get you in there, waste two to three hours in their office and make you feel everything is going to be okay. They even let me take the vehicle home and I thought everything was going to be okay with the financing. I thought "why in the world would they let me take one of their vehicle's home if this wasn't going to be okay. The next morning I went to my bank to see if I could get a lower interest rate. I had the vehicle and they did the research on it. Tom Gill was asking for $21,000 and the bank said "it's retailed at $18,000 and that is all we can lead you". When I called to see what was going on with my application, the salesman wouldn't even call me back. I then called the finance department and they informed me "sorry, but no deal unless you can come up with money to put down." I returned the vehicle immediately (after I feel in love with it) and showed the salesman my research and he laughed at me stating "we can't sell it for that". I told him I understood that and was offering $1,000 more over it and explained I went to my personnel bank and they wouldn't lend me the money Tom Gill was asking because it retailed lower. They salesman and finance person stated they couldn't help me. It's a used vehicle that was on the lot for awhile. Their loss. Hope they can get rid of it for that price. Tom Gill can be beat so do your research first before purchasing a vehicle from them. More
They hid unwanted items in the price of the truck and mislead me (warranty), 2nd party items that had been added to the truck were of poor quality and not supported. When i reported these problems to corporate on there satisfaction surveys the did future repair off the record to protect their rating. More

We had a great experience at Tom Gill about two months ago. Jeff Woods was our salesman, and he was great. He was attentive to what we wanted, asked questions, and wasn't pushy at all. His customer service skills and attention to detail was incredible. He couldn't have been any nicer. We purchased a demo 2011 Chevy Tahoe that had about 6K miles on it. Jeff worked with the service manager to have the oil changed that day. He also called Onstar to help me get it setup, and even setup my blue tooth. None of this was necessary. I could have done it all myself, but he was so great. I will definitely recommend him and Tom Gill to anyone. Keep up the great work. More
Marty was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the products. She had to work with us over the course of several days due to some of our personal problems but throughout it all she was always very plea products. At one point, she even came in on her day off expecting us to be therebut we were not able to come in that day. She always maintained professional manners and stayed curtious and happy even though we ruined her day off and we feel very bad about that. I can truly say that Marty became more of an honest "friend" by the end of our purchase. I would definitely come back again to Tom Gill (we also bought a Cobalt there 2 years ago) but this time would try to ask to deal with Marty by name. We feel that she was always honest,truthful,pleasent, and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to any of my family or friends to deal with. I bought a 2011 Equinox last week from Tom Gill Chevrolet and I am very pleased with it. I had shopped around all day for a new car and Tom Gill was my last stop of the day. My sales person, Cinda, was both friendly and knowledgeable. I think the difference I experienced at Tom Gill was the lack of pressure. I felt I had been pressured all day to walk out of the other dealerships with a vehicle. One sales person even acted on my sense of guilt that he had put in "all that time negotiating with me" and didn't think it was reasonable for me to think about such a large purchase or shop around at other dealers. The special incentives ranging from steaks to free car washes let me know their dealership wanted my business and was interested in keeping it. Since the product, a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, was the same at all the dealerships the difference surrounded customer services. Tom Gill is about thirty miles from where I live and my salesperson even dropped my car off near my home. I could have understood the offer if she had been delivering my new car but she offered to drive the old vehicle. I give Tom Gill Chevrolet a high rating and have already recommended them to a couple of my friends. More

Of course, the staff seems friendly and eager to help until the purchase is final and you have a problem! When you purchase a white car, you expect it to be all the same color, right? That's what I thought, however, the Chevy camaro is two-toned and they are aware of this issue, yet fail to disclose this information. It's not as noticeable at night, however in daylight it stands out. My explanation in regards to this matter was, that's just the way the paint takes sometimes and theres nothing we can do! Are you serious, that's my answer, I think I deserve more than that. A business of character, I beg to differ!!!! More
