First time buyer? No problem! I just purchased my first brand new car from Scott M at Tony Honda. The experience was amazing. As a first time buyer, I was needless to say very anxi I just purchased my first brand new car from Scott M at Tony Honda. The experience was amazing. As a first time buyer, I was needless to say very anxious about the process. I know close to nothing about cars and buying cars. Scott metaphorically held my hand throughout the entire process. I was set that I wanted a CR-V because I had actually viewed it as another dealership: pacific Honda. I went there to look at a pilot and when I was shown the CR-V, I fell in love. However, for whatever reason, the associate at Pacific Honda wasn’t as helpful. He wouldn’t respond to my numerous emails asking about the differences, between the models, the pricing, and the process. Maybe he thought I wasn’t serious about buying but I’m just presuming. Scott however reached out to me when I requested an e-quote from Tony Honda’s webpage. From day one, he made me feel comfortable and at ease about moving forward with the purchase. He was very patient and knowledgeable about all of the different models and wasn’t at all dismissive of my millions of questions. He truly cares about his customers and getting them a vehicle that is the perfect fit for their wants, needs, and lifestyle. He was not at all pushy in trying to sell me more things. In fact, i originally wanted to go with the highest model because of one small but very useful feature that only the top model possessed. He talked me out of it and suggested the model one step lower because it would have been much cheaper for me to customize my model (the EX-L) by buying the part separately and having it installed. He was very friendly and caring and never once made me feel like he was trying to rip me off. In fact he even discounted the part and installation for me. He also was always available and didn’t mind me texting him whenever I had additional questions—even after I already bought the car. He never made me feel as if I were bothering him and showed me that regardless of the purchase being complete, he would still be there to serve and assist me with any problems or questions. I was so ridiculously excited when the purchase was finalized and he shared that excitement and enthusiasm with me. He got me through everything step by step, went over every detail and made this whole process such a wonderful experience. I wish all car salesmen could be just like him because with him, he made me feel like it wasn’t about the sale or the money; it was about bringing happiness and comfort to his customer. I know that if I ever need another vehicle for whatever reason, I would definitely go back to Scott. I highly recommend him as being a wonderful salesman and human being. More
