I love my new Honda CRV! I went to Tony Honda initially to look at pre owned CRVs and was lucky enough to work with Scott Matsuoka. I had never bought a car at a dealer before I went to Tony Honda initially to look at pre owned CRVs and was lucky enough to work with Scott Matsuoka. I had never bought a car at a dealer before and had some trepidation about being glommed onto by the stereotypical high pressure used car salesman. Scott was just the opposite, he was quiet, courteous, and low key, yet friendly and very knowledgeable. He showed me what was available in used cars, then we looked at the new models and he told me about the sale that had just started offering an "employee's discount" on selected vehicles. I found exactly what I was looking for with a super price cut off about $3000! We went for a ride and I was sold, what a great car! He also took the time to find out what I did and what I needed in the way of transportation, and showed me certain features that would help make my work easier. It also helped that I had done some research beforehand and knew that the CRV is one of the safest, long-lasting, and best gas mileage cars available, not to mention affordable. Then Scott and I sat down to work out the details of the financing, and another employee came in to help me decide about window tinting and a cargo mat. They were both so kind and accommodating without being pressuring at all, always one of my fears about car salesmen! I also spoke with the boss, Marco Gonzalez, who was more businesslike but explained the extended warranty clearly before I signed anything. So within about 3 hours of my arrival I was driving away in my new car, and I couldn't be happier. I give Tony Honda and Scott Matsuoka the highest FIVE STAR RATING, they are customer friendly, honest, knowledgeable, no pressure, and have a great selection of vehicles. Right away I knew he wasn’t your typical salesman trying to stroke you for a quick sale. He was very knowledgeable with the product and offered technical details an average salesman wouldn’t know. Coming from an automotive background, I knew right away he wasn’t BLOWING SMOKE. He has automotive repair experience which is invaluable for someone in sales. He had our vehicle cleaned up while we were doing all the paperwork, and next thing we knew, we were driving off in our new car by the early afternoon. Our new 2017 CR-V purchase Black Friday 2017!!!!!! I have been with dealing the Tony Honda Team since I purchased my 2016 Civic there. All the maintenance was performed at Tony Honda and have always had such a great experience with each visit with my Service Rep John Vanhta to the techs and customer service desk ladies. Now I just traded the Civic in for the 2017 CR-V Touring and the day my wife Julie and I spent there was another example of the courteous and helpful people who work there. They enjoy what they do and they share that Aloha with the customers they serve. I first met Maria Balicoco during a visit waiting for my Civic to be serviced. I was enjoying the sun outside looking at the 2017 CR-V. She introduced herself and we talked for about five minutes or so and ended the conversation with telling her I still needed to discuss going forward with a purchase with my wife Julie and if we came to purchase one, we would find her. We came back, found her right away and she cheerfully worked with us to test drive the car, show us the features and in the end we worked out a great deal for purchase!! She couldn't have been more knowledgeable about the vehicle, the purchase process or looking to our comfort while we waited. Thank you Maria for such a wonderful day at Tony Honda!! I must mention we were also assisted along the way by Lani Pelayan. She has such a friendly and bubbly personality with her humor and friendly manner. She walked us through the initial customization of the list of custom settings she made for us and taught us what each of the different choices meant so we could choose what best fit our needs There were other Team members involved along the way to our purchase completion such as Ron Oya for choosing options. I had worked with him when I bought the Civic also. Another example of a soft spoken, friendly and knowledgeable member of your Tony Honda Team. I do not remember the name of the gentleman who served us in Finance and could not find him listed on your website. (Age does that to the memory) He is a very professional, knowledgeable member of your team and walked us through every line item on our financials. What a wonderful cost savings to have the extended warranty for my Civic transferred to our new CR-V!! I had spoken with Maria about it earlier in the day and he was prepared for that when we got to that step since she had followed up with him on our inquiry. Thank you again Maria and to this gentleman. The Tony Honda Team is a wonderful group of Ohana to deal with on every level and on each and every visit I have made there.
