She befriended us from the start and gained our trust. It was as if we've known her for years. She escorted us around the lot showing us many different vehicles from used to new ones. Tracie was very patient and provided great insight on what type of vehicle would suit our needs. She was unlike many other sales people. This was the first time we didn't feel like we're being forced to purchase something we didn't want. Never did we feel like we were just another sale. Tracie made us feel comfortable and ensured we were well taken care of. She even got us a great deal on the vehicle we final purchased which was another plus. Tony Honda Waipahu Sets the Bar I was on a mission this weekend to purchase a vehicle...spent two days scoping out Craigslist and visiting a few dealerships. At the first dealership I was on a mission this weekend to purchase a vehicle...spent two days scoping out Craigslist and visiting a few dealerships. At the first dealership experience in town, the car sales person was great but the manager's intervention completely turned me off and left me, the customer, feeling really bad for not signing a sales contract before I left. I would NEVER go back there again. It took SCOTT MATSUOKA at Tony Honda Waipahu to instill trust and confidence in my car buying experience and he represented his dealership proudly. SCOTT MATSUOKA was a true professional from the get-go...he promptly responded to my calls and inquiries, greeted me at the front door when I arrived, was very proactive with sharing information and orienting me to the vehicles that I expressed interest in, and was so easy to talk to. Some sales people can be very shallow and are only out for one mission and one mission only...to be persistent to a fault until they make that sale. I found Scott to be very different - he was very genuine, cared about my interests, and established credibility and trust up front. Scott treated me like an important customer, and not just a sale that he was after. Although I live in town, I would make that trip down to Tony Honda Waipahu to do business with them again because of Scott. If you're looking for a car to purchase, new or used, I highly recommend that you ask for SCOTT MATSUOKA at Tony Honda Waipahu...he sets the bar high with his customer care, service, and knowledge! 10-4-14 Visit I had my regularly scheduled oil change and Wade also had my battery replaced because once in awhile my car would not start/turn right away. He will suggest and let me know what he recommends my Pilot needs and I appreciate his caring demeanor. My service guy was John V., was outstanding & friendly, and made sure I knew everything they were going to do. Took the shuttle home at 10am. Car was in the shop for a longer than expected because my alignment was so off. Shuttle for pick up at my home took almost two hours, that was hard as I had to cancel an appointment, but shuttle driver was super busy and only one shuttle driver! But, as with ALL Tony Honda employees, he was so nice and friendly and apologetic! Always, a great experience at TONY HONDA! The woman that checked me out, Janelle? Janice? Janet?, so sorry I forgot her name, but she so sweet and nice, made my experience that much better! Love Tony Honda! More
