Here's excerpt of my email: Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2012 11:52 PM To: 'Katherine Jones' Subject: RE: Honda CSI Purchase Follow-up email (Kitty Jones) 11.12.09 Hi Kitty, I am actually really glad that you dropped me a line because I am sick to my stomach about the lease that I signed yesterday. I was perfectly happy when I left the dealership but my happiness quickly turned sour when I sat down at home to actually read the lease. Instead of feeling good about what I thought was a fair deal, I felt taken and ripped off. It’s the same sick feeling that I experienced when I bought our last two cars from Tony Honda (this is really the 4th Honda that my husband and I have bought from Tony Honda) and so I feel sooooo stupid for even stopping by. The service department really deserves the kudos for our business but it never fails; I continue to have such horrible luck with your sales department. Please don’t get me wrong. Our sales consultant, did an EXCELLENT job. But what he, and the others don’t do, is truly help buyers understand what it is they are agreeing to. For this particular lease, our talks were based solely on the monthly payment. When I asked what the monthly payment was based on, I never got an answer. I suppose the figures were buried on the worksheet that I quickly signed but why is it that no one takes the time to explain the details on that worksheet? Is it the sales department’s goal to not disclose the details so folks are caught off-guard when signing the actual contract?
