Fast, friendly and VERY satisfying We needed a new car and being Costco customers we use their buying service. We contacted Costco who put us in touch with Hyundai Waipio immediately. Within a minute of our inquiry we got an email AND phone Message from Joshua Matsushige introducing himself and his desire to help us. We explained our circumstances, all of them, and he explained some options and provided his hours of availability. We met him at the dealership a mere 30 minutes prior to closing on a Sunday evening. He had the particular model we had discussed up front for us to inspect and got us out on a test drive right away. We loved the car and the evening just got better from there. From the initial contact until service after the sale, this has been an outstanding experience. In three hours total time at the dealership we were done. Financing, accessories and final walk through/inspection all completed without an hitch or a concern. we went from dreading having to look for a car to being overjoyed with having met Josh and the fine people at Hyundai Waipio If you want a great car without the pain of the process, these are the people. THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE ANYONE COULD HAVE!!! John, Ken & Jack made my first car buying experience, amazing! I’ve sat with many people through theirs & not one was as easy as this! Let me start of John, Ken & Jack made my first car buying experience, amazing! I’ve sat with many people through theirs & not one was as easy as this! Let me start off by saying my credit background is probably one of the worst for a 23 year old. By 19, I had a repo’d car & 3 credit cards in collections. I worked my butt off to get to where I am now, which is still nowhere near to being in the clear. I came here out of spur of the moment with only so much cash to put down. I was soooo nervous & felt like there was no point. But John made sure I at least got a chance. I explained to him about my credit history & he had my back when talking to the banks. Although because of my repo’d car, the majority denied. They still didn’t give up & found me a credit union that stuck to my terms. Ken walked me through this car buying process as my favorite salesman! He never or THEY never once made me feel like I couldn’t do it. & Everything came down to what I wanted! Jack, the finance manager made the “paper signing” the most fun process ever. His personality really shines through more than any other “manager” I’ve come across. I even joked that I’ll miss him & I was only with him for 5 mins top, lol. The type of warranty and insurance package that comes with my deal was CRAZY GOOD as I know other places will charge extra. I don’t want to give away too many specs, just know that Hyundai TAKES CARE!!!! You will not regret a THING coming here and working with them! Mahalo to all of you! More

Wilber was very open about what Hyundai has to offer. We communicated about what we were looking for and after gathering all the info, he spoke to his manager about the pricing. He came back with an offer. I mean, he came back, not his manager, he did, that's huge!!! I loved the fact I didn't have to negotiate with some other person. We needed a few days to make our decision and Wilber never really bothered us with calls or anything like that. He was respectful and gave us time to decide. He also offered that if we can't take the car home just yet (we still had our old leased car), we can purchase it and then pick it up in a few days. We chose 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport. Love the car!!! Once we made the deal, we were dealing with the finance department and that process was super fast and stress free as well. No hidden fees. I love the fact that we don't really have to do our service with them since we are leasing. They let you use your favorite shop for service if you want and still keep the benefits of a lease. Once a year visit at Hyundai is enough to keep the car under warranty. When we arrived to pick up the car, Wilber was waiting for us ready to help us register for Bluelink services and to pair my phone with the system. We were very happy about our decision about the car and the dealership. Top notch service and excellent experience. Looking forward to the next visit. More
