They didn't have anything suitable for me on the lot so Louie checked the Pearl City location for me the very next day and sent me a picture of a car that he thought was perfect for me. The following day I was able to go in and look at the car (he brought it from Pearl City to Waipio for me) - the mileage was incredible and the CarFax was pristine. Louie knew how much I was pre-approved for and didn't try to pressure me to go any higher, he got me the exact amount on the check. Overall, this dealer and dealership made a very scary process as easy for me as they possibly could. More
For many years I have purchased and serviced cars through a dealership near my home. This was the tipping point for me to look for another dealership that sold Nissans. This brought me to Tony Group in Waipio where I met Cal who immediately responded to my email inquiries after I visited their easy-to-navigate website. He not only answered via email but made a few calls as well. I inquired about several vehicles all the while researching other dealerships online. Cal and Nashua at Tony nissan were ready and willing to answer any question i had without any pressure. I finally showed up to the lot on a stormy Saturday afternoon and although the weather was not friendly both Nashua and Cal were and we test drove two vehicles. When buying a car i value being treated like family or friend. I know what I amlooking for but i rely upon the car rep to know the vehicles, listen carefully to my needs and suggest the best auto, add ons that would work for me. This is what I found with Nashua and Cal..no pressure, just talk story, test drive until we find the best fit. Hawaii is a culture of family and friends caring for one another and that is what I experienced at Tony Nissan with Cal and Nashua! More

The recent (8/10/13) major service was disappointing on 3 points: 1. my car was not starting for several days with intermittent problems over the previous 2 weeks. I reported the issue and that it was proba points: 1. my car was not starting for several days with intermittent problems over the previous 2 weeks. I reported the issue and that it was probably related to a switch tied to the reverse light as I had changed the battery and the starter didn't seem to be the problem. Even though I asked the switch be checked---no diagnostic was done as the car had started without incident for the technician. When I came to pick up the car at the end of the day, it did not start AND I was informed that it was too late to complete diagnostic testing that day. I had to leave the car an additional day. 2. On previous visits(5/10/13 and previous), technicians recommended that I replace one of the engine belts. It was hand written in on my multipoint inspection report (yellow paper) and apparently not entered into the system, as the service representative could not find a note/recommendation from the technician. There were other previous notes to flush systems, change brakes, etc...no record of those being entered into the system. It makes me wonder if any of those recommendations were necessary service since none were ever done or even recommended on any subsequent visit. 3. cost--significantly higher for the major service than my private mechanic would charge.
