I don’t know who Aziz is, but our experience was terrible. We got jerked around because they couldn’t find a key, tried to pressure us into another color, didn’t take my finance concerns seriously, terrible. We got jerked around because they couldn’t find a key, tried to pressure us into another color, didn’t take my finance concerns seriously, let us drive a new vehicle home with a defective airbag, and many other things. I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding my recent experience at Town Center Nissan, specifically involving two employees, Wayne Riggle and Trent Perryman. My compla disappointment regarding my recent experience at Town Center Nissan, specifically involving two employees, Wayne Riggle and Trent Perryman. My complaint is not about a vehicle or material items—I am never hard up for anything material. This is entirely about respect, dignity, and the integrity of the customer experience. I initially spoke with Wayne by phone and was transparent about my challenged credit. I made it clear that I understood my circumstances and would not be upset if he could not secure bank approval. Despite this, he insisted that he “could work something out” for me and encouraged me to complete an online application. His assistant later contacted me and strongly encouraged me to come to the dealership, even trying to convince me to take a $40 Uber. I ultimately had my mother bring me. I arrived under the impression—based on their communication—that I was pre-approved with $500 down and simply needed to bring proof of income and residency, which I did. When I arrived, Wayne stated he needed to run my credit again. After doing so, he immediately asked whether I had a co-signer. I told him no. He then brought in Trent, and I strongly felt Trent was brought in specifically because he is Black this is my perception and feelings with all due respect, which came across as a form of manipulation and pressure. Trent repeated the same question about a co-signer. Again, I said no. Serval times I repeated NO. I expressed clearly that I wanted peace over pressure and that my mother was waiting in the car. Instead of respecting this, TRENT PERRYMAN asked if my mother could co-sign. I again said no, explaining that she also has challenged credit and I would not ask her to do that. Shortly after this, my mother walked into the office with both Wayne and Trent. Trent stated TO MY MOTHER, “This will help your credit and your daughter’s,” which I believe crossed into coercion—( Coercion examples include psychological or emotional pressure. playing on a mother’s desire to help her child and improve her own financial situation. This was deeply troubling to witness. I spent three hours plus time traveled at the dealership, with my nephews who were restless and tired, and the employees allowed us to sit there despite knowing my mother was waiting and despite my repeated statements that I did not want a co-signer. It felt as though they were disrespecting my time, disregarding my boundaries, and taking advantage of the situation in hopes of securing a sale. I left feeling hurt, manipulated, pressured, and disrespected. I had traveled 40 minutes each way based on assurances that were not true. I did not feel valued as a customer or as a person. This email is not a request for anyone to be terminated. My hope is that Nissan Town center management will address this matter seriously and ensure that no other customer—especially women or vulnerable consumers—has to experience this type of treatment. People deserve honesty, respect, and transparency, not coercion or manipulation. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to a response and to knowing that appropriate action will be taken to uphold the standards Nissan claims to represent. More
Hassan greatest us at the front door and was very warm and welcoming. We did not feel pressured. He understood what we were looking for and gave us the space to see different cars. Buy a car somewhere else. Had a confirmed appointment to test drive a particular car on Saturday afternoon. Called/texted late Saturday morning to confirm if the car was still Had a confirmed appointment to test drive a particular car on Saturday afternoon. Called/texted late Saturday morning to confirm if the car was still there. Couldn't get a straight answer. Finally get someone to call us back to 100% confirm the car actually sold Friday night. I totally understand whoever makes the deal gets the car first. My problem is they had no intention of letting us know it had sold. They just expected us to drive two hours and just find out when we got there for the test drive. The guy on the phone started trying to sell me other cars that were not remotely like the one I wanted to test drive. He got so rude about why I wanted that particular car. He did offer by the end of the conversation to try and find that model somewhere else but the damage was done by that point. I knew if he was disrespectful over the phone that he would be extremely rude in person. We ended up buying a nicer car at a different Nissan dealership a few hours later. Would never consider doing business with this location ever again. They know their skeezy business practices cost them a sale from me but they are still calling and bothering me two weeks later. More
