Went to look at a 2019 f250 that had less than 6000 miles. After test driving the truck we got back to find that there is an accident reported on the carfax. That's when we should have walked away. However, the sales guy Terrence Balentine assured us that since the vehicle was still under manufacturer warranty and was "Certified", it would be covered if there was ever an issue. Believing this, we decided to purchase the vehicle. A week later, I notice a noise when decelerating so I took the truck in to a local Ford dealer. They inform me that the rear wheel is bent and damaged beyond repair and the hub axle/bearings need replaced. Also, because the vehicle was in an accident it will not be covered under warranty. I called Town East Ford service dept and spoke to Damion. He said to bring it in and they would do the right thing. After having the truck for 6 weeks (yes, that's not a typo 6), I finally get a call back and was told that they couldn't fix it because it's not covered under warranty. If you buy a vehicle from this place be sure and get the warranty in writing and not listen to any BS the sales guy tells you. Or you'll be sorry like I was. Nobody Should have to spend 3k dollars to repair a vehicle they just purchased. More
