THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD ....I JUST BOUGHT A USED CAR FOR MY DAUGHTER AT TOWNE HYUNDAI...AS I WAS LOOKING AT THE CAR AND TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE, I POINTED OUT SOME STAINS ON THE SEATS AND THE OVERALL I FOR MY DAUGHTER AT TOWNE HYUNDAI...AS I WAS LOOKING AT THE CAR AND TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE, I POINTED OUT SOME STAINS ON THE SEATS AND THE OVERALL INTERIOR WAS FILTHY. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE FULLY DETAILED BEFORE IT WOULD BE GIVEN TO ME. WHEN I RECEIVED THE CAR, IT WAS THE SAME WAY THAT I LEFT IT. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME 289.00 FOR THE CAR DETAIL. WHAT I GOT WAS A REGULAR CAR WASH THAT I CAN GET FOR 9.95. I AM IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. THE SALESMAN SEEMS TO BE ON YOUR SIDE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS UNTIL YOU SIGN THE PAPERS. THEN YOUR ARE ON YOUR OWN. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. IF THIS HOW THEY NEED TO MAKE MONEY, THEN SHUT THE DOORS AND OPEN UP A CAR WASH AND CHARGE 300.00 FOR A CAR WASH. WHAT I AM REALLY UPSET ABOUT IS THAT THE SALESMAN SHOOK MY HAND AND GAVE ME HIS WORD THAT HE WILL PERSONALLY TAKE CARE OF IT. After weeks of researching - I thought I had found the car I wanted - a Hyundai Azera 2007 Ltd 104000 miles , looked good - at a dealer some 40 miles away with a 4.7 /5 rating When I drove away first da car I wanted - a Hyundai Azera 2007 Ltd 104000 miles , looked good - at a dealer some 40 miles away with a 4.7 /5 rating When I drove away first day from the dealership- there was a thumping noise from the rear side - I reached home and emailed the dealer - he said to bring it in and he would check it - I did that and left the car with him - first he said the rear rotors were warped and that could be fixed at my cost... I suspected that was not the case Then I was informed the wheel hub assembly was bad and would be fixed for $485 cost to me I said no - my local mechanic finally found the issue - bad shocks which had caused several bumps on the rear tire - which was making the thumping noise - I bought new tires I have this car now with bad shocks . I am sure the dealer would not consider these as part of the 160 point inspection they say they do before selling I cannot quite understand the logic of providing excellent ratings when dealers give you such a raw deal - I called several time to speak to people and apparently they have v senior guys mostly... Best service experience. I dealt directly with Ken Goss, the service manager. He was attentive and understanding. His team fixed a stalling concern that another Hyundai dealer failed to find on several tri the service manager. He was attentive and understanding. I've never purchased a new car, and the last time I bought a car at all was 17 years ago, from a friend. While I'm of course aware that salespeople want to get the highest possible price for the car and that my goal is just the opposite, it was still challenging for me to interact skillfully and persist in getting a lower price without getting angry with the salespeople for wanting to get as much $$ as they could out of me. That's how the business is. Fred was knowledgeable about the car and persistent in following through with things. Service was very good and I'm happy I got a Hyundai Sonata. I spoke with several other dealers for price checks but wanted to buy the car from him as he'd put effort into telling me about the car and having me drive it around. More
