We knew the specific vehicle we needed: the Hyundai Azera Limited, with a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel so Mom could climb in and out. We selected the vehicle and sat down with the salesman. After telling him we were buying the car, he began a song and dance. He first started with an "Added Marked Value" price bump of $2,000 over MSRP. He asked ME to prove their internet price; told me his manager might not approve the internet price; told me to go to the computer and search for their internet price; told me I was a smart man and didn't want to insult me; told me to make him an offer. They had the car sold. All they had to do was print a retail buyer's order for the internet price, and they would have had a check and we would have taken the car that night or the next morning, but they just refused to write up their internet bid price as a deal. We went to Sansone, in Avenel, and drove off with the car in less than an hour - they had done up all the documents before we got there, honoring every oral word they said. More

I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessional conduct the new sales department was during an invitation to test drive a Hyundai vehicle. I received a brochure to receive a $10.00 gift card to tes conduct the new sales department was during an invitation to test drive a Hyundai vehicle. I received a brochure to receive a $10.00 gift card to test drive a vehicle at Towne Hyundai in Denville, NJ. Bring friends & family was what the brochure stated. I brought a friend with me, we arrived around 7:30PM, and a salesman named Hector greated my friend. She received her gift card, but did not test drive a car. I was the person who received the brochure and invitation, but was neglected by Hector, even though I was the one interested in test driving a vehicle and possibly purchasing one from this dealership. After over 1/2 hour of being ignored, I was greeted by another salesman named Fred Onorato. At first, he acted very professional, was courteous, and stated he will allow a test drive of a vehicle of choice for me and I would receive a $10.00 gift card. After testing a new "Genesis" vehicle, Fred was rude to stop dealing with my friend and I, and began to interact with two other clients, without even asking or stating he was doing this. After over a 1/2 hour sitting listening to Fred and the other two clients telling stories, my friend and I were about to leave. Fred finally finished with the clients and never apoligized for being inconsiderate, but sat down to answer my questions regarding the test drive vehicle. Fred was a high pressure salesman, does not make you feel comfortable to deal with him or the dealership. Fred is very selfish, unprofessional, unethical, and almost had a tantrum right in front of me since I did not buy a vehicle that evening. He complained that he spent time with me and I must buy a vehicle from him, I feel he is only thinking of himself and his wallet, and not of making a friend/good client for the dealership. When I stated I needed more time to make up my mind, I was harrassed for over an hour that evening why I'm not buying a $40,000.00 vehicle and taking it home that night without any further considerations. I felt I was being strong armed to purchase a vehicle, even when I stated to Fred that the price was too high, my trade-in they low balled, the vehicle they priced for me had accessories I didn't want or need, they wanted me to buy and take in possession a vehicle I could not see since it was too dark to view, it was about 10:30PM at this point, nor did I test drive this vehicle, and Fred would not back down and take a "No" I'm not purchasing a vehicle tonight nor placing a deposit on a vehicle that I might not want. The evening ended poorly, I did not enjoy being in this dealership, would not trust the employees at this dealership, and I thank the Lord I found out this before I purchased a vehicle at Towne Hyundai and if I had a problem or issue, that I would be rudely ignored and would have to solve my problem on my own. When I finally began to leave, and after reminding Fred over a dozen times regarding the gift card, Fred stated he did not have one to give me. I phoned to follow-up regarding when I could receive my gift card since I complied to the rules on the brochure, Fred could care less about the gift card and continued to harrass me about purchasing a vehicle from him. I would just say stay away from Fred Onorato, and be careful if you ever do business with this company, since I caught them in many lies, refused to take my phone calls, and caused me duress when all I wanted was to get my $10.00 gift card I was promised from when I first test drove a vehicle from this dealership. Sent out Internet requests to all the north jersey Hyundai dealerships for a 2011 Sonata LTD. Towne's Internet Sales Mgr, Hector Colon, was very responsive and came back with a fair price, that even Hyundai dealerships for a 2011 Sonata LTD. Towne's Internet Sales Mgr, Hector Colon, was very responsive and came back with a fair price, that even included all the so called hidden fees other dealerships fail to reveal in most requests. We went to the dealership and worked with their salesperson Lee Frucci. He was great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. Could not have had a better experience. Would highly recommend dealing with them and especially Lee. More

Everything was great. I started by e-mail several Hyundai dealers in my area to get a feeler out for who was willing to deal and what inventory they had. Only two dealers had the car I was looking f Hyundai dealers in my area to get a feeler out for who was willing to deal and what inventory they had. Only two dealers had the car I was looking for, one being Towne. The other dealer offered me invoice price before rebates, but since they were farther away, I decided to look at Towne and see what deal they would give me. When I walked in they already knew what I was there to look for and were in the process of bring a car up for me to test drive. When I got back from the test drive he had already written up some numbers for their offer which was far better than I expected, so aside from discussing it with my wife for a few minutes and needing to get some lunch, I agreed right then. They even then worked out the details to get us a rebate. I couldn't have asked for a better deal (which is why I didn't). The only downside was how long we had to sit and wait for the finance officer, but that's mostly because there were only two of them and they were having a busy sales day (Saturday). Overall I am definitely extremely satisfied with the dealership. They even said they'd send my father a bonus because he bought his last car from them over 2 years ago. More

I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Sean is an awsome person as was the finance dept and everyone I dealt with during my purchase. Friendly, helpful and courteous all the way. NO pushy salesman awsome person as was the finance dept and everyone I dealt with during my purchase. Friendly, helpful and courteous all the way. NO pushy salesman at all, which is so nice I purchased a used vehicle about 5 years ago and a new one just recently and when I am ready in the future they will have my business. Very Satisfied With My Buying Experience Pros: a no Very Satisfied With My Buying Experience Pros: a no sales pressure buying experience Cons: their quote was significantly below dealer invoice Very Satisfied With My Buying Experience Pros: a no sales pressure buying experience Cons: their quote was significantly below dealer invoice so they tried to make that up on the trade-in I received several quotes from area Hyundai dealerships, including one that was supposed to offer "special pricing" for BJs customers - they gave the highest quote. Towne and another dealership came up with the same price via an Internet quote and with just a couple of more phone calls, they offered the best price. That process was straight forward, but there was a hiccup when the time came to talk trade-in when I came to the dealership to sign the sales contract. I did ultimately get the price I thought was acceptable for the trade- in once I made it obvious their sale was in jeopardy. From that point on, it was a very good buying experience with no sales pressure at a time when auto sales are down for every dealership. And when I got the car home and saw scratches on the hood that were not visible in the sun when I took delivery of the car, there was no hesitation from the salesperson to make arrangements for me to come back at my convenience to have that taken care of. That also gave me an opportunity to deal with Towne's Service Dept. and I found them very eager to please their customers. More
After checking on their website, I found a car that met our needs and budget (Suzuki). The internet rep/office rep (Jamaal Ford) was very helpful in getting us there personally as we had no means of commut our needs and budget (Suzuki). The internet rep/office rep (Jamaal Ford) was very helpful in getting us there personally as we had no means of commuting then. Once we were there (11th April 2009), he sincerely helped us find a better vehicle (2002 Santa Fe) that was low on mileage and price. We were told that the vehicle has gone thru the required checks and everything works fine (the test drive proved that the vehicle was in good running condition). We completed all the requisite formalities and guess what? : The original keys were missing (a new cut-out key was used to get the vehicle from the lot for the test drive). He assured us that a key with the remote will be provided free of cost and he did honor his words. They did not charge me for the keys when I went there for the service. Now for the negetive's. After taking the delivery of the vehicle and using it for a few days, we found that 1. the battery drained out quite fast making a clickety-click noise everytime the indicators/lights were put on. On 6th May 2009, the battery went dead and needed to be jump-started. It was then when I noticed that the terminal was clogged with deposits. 2. the wiper's washer would not spray water (my feeling was that there was not enough water in the tank). On getting it checked during the service (at towne hyundai), I was told that the pump has conked off and it needs replacement at a cost of $60. The part was not in stock and I was required to pay in advance to get the stock ordered. 3. the vehicle jerked when the vehicle would touch a speed of 60 mph. At the time of service, it was reported that the vehicle required wheel alignment/balancing that cost me $30. All in all, my first (and only) free oil-change/service cost me $54. My request to all buyers from Towne Hyundai. Check every single knob, button etc. to ensure that the vehicle is really in good working condition. Their claims that it goes through the inspection check is just a farce (or maybe, just a literal walk-thru). Once you purchase the vehicle in an "as-is" condition from them, be ready to shell out money for spares in the following weeks. More
